Trying to get the LP info and make and model of the vehicle from these pictures. Ya, I know, they are blurry, but I am able to make out a few characters. And help would be appreciated .

Updated 9-19-22 I have 2 of the Hik 180's and really like them. Here is a cropped view of the stitching between the sensors with a stick at 45 degrees at about 5 ft. away. It is really not noticeable at further distances. I wonder if the Dahua does the same thing and if there is a way to...

I guess I was looking at this as a turret..ish style mount camera, the IPC-PDW5849, mainly due the the mounting configuration.

Some water did actually did enter the housing. When it was opened, some water did pour out. It was not enough to cause a failure, but if it was left inside, it would have eventually cause corrosion and failed. I'll let it dry out for a few days.

Decided to have a look inside the camera. With the amount of moisture in the front lens area, I wanted to see how much water actually entered the housing

7-8 inches according to several local online rain gauges. No damage, just lots of debris and trash to pick up.

Yes it does the occasional calibration-click-freeze. Very brief though.

Consider a cheap DashCam with wifi, easy to power off of 12 vdc and onboard storage, or an action cam with image stabilaization.

The reason being is that like the boobie cam, it has 1 IP address and 2 streams, channel 1 and channel 2, just curiuos how this one is configured. It would be great if this one uses only one stream-channel. On my BI install, the " + " , "add camera" is grayed out, can,t add any more...

Is the video from the cameras web UI? Have you tried it in BI? Does it require any de-warping? Love the view, and I could replace three cameras with one of these. 2 × 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS---nice!

Here is a BI dewarped view of this cam. It is mounted outside, but in a covered area. Been mounted here for a year with no weather related problems.
