    Firmware v 5.6.xxx for HikVision DS-2CD1143G0-I

It would really help if HikVision organized the file naming convention as well :-) From the page: DS-2CD1143G0-I Firmware_V5.5.88_200610 file name -> 01252820-85e5-4c30-ba88-1dd8b8e2d072.zip Firmware_V5.7.21_231213 file name -> Firmware__V5.7.21_231213_S3000547718.zip @hikvision, if you need...

    Firmware v 5.6.xxx for HikVision DS-2CD1143G0-I

These are 5.5 versions. The link at DS-2CD1143G0-I displays a 5.7 version that does not work. Baffles me that a company like Hikvision are so confused on this front. It really does not take that much effort. Maybe there eventually sort themselves out and are able to provide a level of support...

    Firmware v 5.6.xxx for HikVision DS-2CD1143G0-I

I extracted the zip file: yes. Correct bin file: I don't understand. I am using iVMS 3.9.1.4 because I could not find version 3.10 -- the hikvision site link points to a file does not exist. Besides this camera (DS-2CD1143G0-I) I also have another hikvision (DS-2CD2347G2-LU) which I upgraded...

    Firmware v 5.6.xxx for HikVision DS-2CD1143G0-I

Download Sadly both firmwares failed. I don't fully comprehend how a firmware for a camera would fail.

    Firmware v 5.6.xxx for HikVision DS-2CD1143G0-I

Would anyone have the v 5.6 firmware for the above HikVision IP Cameras please? HikVision's site only seems to carry the v 5.7 yet when I tried to upgrade I get the "Failed to get the upgrading progress. " error. I am on v 5.5 and if I can get hold of v5.6 at least I would upgrade one notch...

How to update the firmware the firmware of the HikVision DS-2CD1143G0

When software is depricated it is no longer maintained; and when it is no longer maintained cracks happen. We keep our software updated (don't wish to open a can of worms on regressive Windows updates) generally speaking it addresses security issues. I would not, for exampe, be comfortable...

How to update the firmware the firmware of the HikVision DS-2CD1143G0

Thanks @alastairstevenson . There isn't an alternative method? Installing/using software that is no longer supported is quite high risk for me. I would avoid it if I could.

How to update the firmware the firmware of the HikVision DS-2CD1143G0

Hello, Can someone direct me on how to update the firmware of the above cameras please? I tried iVMS-4200 v 3.8.0.4 but the browse button on the web page that comes up is not working (ActiveX issue?). Attempt to perform the update using the web interface of the camera also fails. Thanks

Accessing HikVision DS-2CD1143G0-I camera using a web browser

Hi, I have the above camera but am not able to access its interface using a web browser. What follows is what I've managed to do up to now: I managed to access the device using both the SADPTool - I changed the default IP to one on my subnet (192.168.16.106). I am able to access it using...

    Video Door bell...

I've given up on integrating the door phone into BI. It would have been great but I can't find a solution that incorporates "out of the box" functionality with aesthetics. My house is wired but it is a pity a video doorbell solution does not exist.

    Video Door bell...

Wow! that's great. I can probably manage 50% on my own but have a relative who can do the 100% so I'm OK with the circuitry. I only need to see if any components need to be adjust to 220-240V. If the camera has a mic in it would it be possible to have two way conversation with the caller via BI?

    Video Door bell...

I would have thought the matter was something in demand that that there would be a good number of solutions on the market. The GBF solution suggested by @randytsuch comes closest to my original needs. I need to check whether the company makes their solution available in Europe (220V, European...

    Video Door bell...

Thanks for your input. I wonder why no one has thought of such a solution as yet. You observation about knocking could be mitigated by using motion detection. I have 7 IP cameras hooked up to BI set like that and they work marvellously. If there isn't a product that can address my wish list...

    Video Door bell...

Hi, I am a longtime user of BlueIris and am happy with the product. My door bell is on the blink and I was considering the ring video doorbell pro. From what I could understand it does not play nice with BI and requires paid for cloud storage which I would like to avoid. What I would like is...

Q: BI Android App through SSL

Thank you. Last year someone had suggested STUNNEL but the problem was that a bug in the app did not allow a port other than 465 to be used. I was wondering if this limitation was fixed. Thank you.

Q: BI Android App through SSL

Hi, A little over a year ago I asked whether it was possible to use the BI App with a non-default port through SSL. Has this been addressed please? If yes, does anyone have a guide on how to do it. Thanks

Trendnet TV-IP200 not working following Java update v 8 update 25

Thank you for your reply. Afraid on my PC the two options are ActiveX and Java; the former does not seem to work (it hasn't in ages) while the latter was my only movie option. The app on my Android (IP Cam viewer) may create an idea of motion by repeatedly stickings stills together something...

Trendnet TV-IP200 not working following Java update v 8 update 25

Hi, After updating to the latest version of Java earlier this week I am unable to stream to my browser. Before I could have a live stream from this camera by typing into the URL http://<<camer's IP address>/Jview.htm. A Java security popup would come up and after accepting it I would get the...
