Accessing HikVision DS-2CD1143G0-I camera using a web browser

Hi,

I have the above camera but am not able to access its interface using a web browser.

What follows is what I've managed to do up to now:

1. I managed to access the device using both the SADPTool - I changed the default IP to one on my subnet (192.168.16.106).
2. I am able to access it using the iVMS-4200 software
   
3. If I open a browser (eg Edge) and I type
   http://192.168.16.106
   , I am taken to
   http://192.168.16.106/doc/page/login.asp?_1610109119473
   for a split second and then the page is redirected to
   http://192.168.16.106/notSupported.asp
   . I tried Chrome and Firefox with identical results).

Is there a way I can enable browser functionality. I can use this software to set it up the first time but would prefer something more universal such as a simple browser.

I think on that model you will still need to use IE11 and the webcomponents plugin.
IE11 does still exist in Win10, just a bit hidden.
