    Toughdog dome camera

The system has 4x BNC cameras and 4x RJ45 cameras connected via an unmanaged switch to the router. I learned a bunch, but mainly that a DVR can accept network cameras depending on the model, so you're not restricted to the number of ports on the back. Pretty cool. Thx guys for letting me bounce...

    Toughdog dome camera

To close out this thread, these are a newish model of ToughDog Security cameras that have a little phillips head accessible panel revealing a microSD card slot and a small reset button. Resetting the cameras defaulted the password to 12345 and I was able to reconfig via the Dahua DVR/NVR.

    Toughdog dome camera

That is a BNC connector. There are 4 BNC cameras connected (3 working) and 4 IP cameras connected. The one I pulled down had a chewed up cable and will need to be replaced. So I need to pull down one of the IP cameras to figure out model# and check for reset button. The DVR I've got allows for...

    Toughdog dome camera

Hey y'all. New restaurant needs to take ownership over the installed cameras. I've got 3 working, but 4 are password protected. I've tried default passwords with no luck. Now I'm trying to manually reset them to avoid having to replace. No model numbers available. None printed on the devices...

Need Hikvision clone model#/firmware upgrade for LTS NVR LTN8816-P16

Understood, I'll review my network. What really bothers me is that I've had it up and running for months at a time and then I can't see it. Normally that'd be caused by a public IP lease renewing or a local IP changing, but I've got a static IP. I'll get eyes on it tomorrow and see if I can...

Need Hikvision clone model#/firmware upgrade for LTS NVR LTN8816-P16

I've got a static WAN and static LAN. I've got a reservation for the NVR in the router and the http port forwarded. I'm using dvrlists.com for DDNS. I am still unable to see the NVR remotely. When I've gotten it to work in the past, as stated in my OP, it'll stop working again 3-6 months later.

Need Hikvision clone model#/firmware upgrade for LTS NVR LTN8816-P16

My issue is that I've configured remote viewing via IP/DDNS several times over the last 5 years. Every 3-6 months it'll stop working, I'll reconfigure, repeat. Now, I've attempted to reconfigure it and it will not work. I've got 3 newer NVRs, one at the same location, that work very well with...

Need Hikvision clone model#/firmware upgrade for LTS NVR LTN8816-P16

The firmware is out of date and LTS support site does not provide an update, just a product manual. What Hikvision firmware equivalent is it and is it safe to upgrade/flash firmware? LTN8816-P16 16CH H.264 NVR, 4 SATA, 16 POE, AC 100-240V
