It should record in one-hour segments but it is recording in one minute or less. Nothing is checked in triggers. Any Ideas? Combine or cut video each 1hr

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD !!!! I can now go on with my LIFE !!!! THANK YOU !!!! Problem was in the Blue Iris original exe file (the largest one) Properties / Compatibility / 256 was checked along with Disable visual themes. Unchecked them both - If I drank, I would be drunk right now. I ordered...

Unchecking "Compatibility mode" does not help. The crazy thing is - BI puts the card into 8-bit mode. But if you go to the Nvidia Control Panel when BI is not messing with it - 8-bit is not even an option.

    Blue Iris conflict with display.

Blue Iris is the only program that changes my "Color depth" like that. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled many times, but it seem like there was still something left in the registry somewhere. (It must, to know how many times I installed it, to cut me off at a certain point)

Thank You - But it did not work. Sure seems like its a registry key. Support would probably know which one effects that. Wish they would answer.

Without BI Open 8bit is not even an option.

    Blue Iris conflict with display.

Well -- Spoke too soon - Every time BI opens, it knocks the "Color Depth" down to 8 bit. and I must go into the panel and reset. (better then before thought)

I wonder why BI would knock the "Color Depth" down, only when I open the BI program ?

B I B G O --- THANK YOU !!! I have been struggling with this for two weeks !!!! The Nvidia control panel color depth was low - 8 (i.e. with Blue Iris running) Changed to 32 - IT WORKS !! I don't know how to thank you. But if your come to SW Florida in the Jan-June I'll take you out on...

    Blue Iris conflict with display.

I am hoping I don't have to reformat my entire computer for a simple registry fix. I'm sure its an easy fix, but finding the culprit is very difficult (for me)

    Blue Iris conflict with display.

You would think by uninstalling and reinstalling BI it would straight itself out. But I think it leaves something somewhere, that does not get uninstalled. All my other programs work fine (until I open BI)

This is the problem Bottom is what happens immediately to everything the second I press OK. Last one I changed my solid background color to what I normally use. You can see the transparency in the open program.

    Blue Iris conflict with display.

Yes - It worked on this computer before I reinstalled the OS. But he would probably know better than anyone, what might be the conflict. Could sure use his input right now. It does seem to be a transparency thing.

    Blue Iris conflict with display.

Thank You - I just use a solid color background, I tried switching to "standard "Windows 7" and no difference Seems like it must be a conflict with something running. I wonder if it uses Java or something like that to run itself.
