    2022 EmpireTech Spring Sales

@mattp Thank you, I was wondering how it worked. I haven't heard from him yet but wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on the lightning deal. I wanted to order directly through him as I just kind of assumed it would be the least amount of cut taken against his sale price.. plus Bezos has...

    2022 EmpireTech Spring Sales

Hey @EMPIRETECANDY . I sent you an email order, hopefully you have received. Do I need to buy off of Amazon for the lightning deal or direct through you works as well?

    Camera Mount Thoughts

Great ideas, thanks! Thankfully getting the wires through the wall isn't a huge deal, but agree I need to test out some specific locations first. It sounds like weather exposure isn't a major concern which I was overthinking (in terms of longevity of a camera exposed to sun/rain), or at least...

    Camera Mount Thoughts

Thank you, I have been reading your posts on cameras and that is part of how I arrived at the cameras I proposed. I figured that the soffit install would be less than ideal for optics, but wasn't sure how much difference 2-3 feet in height could make. I assume its worthwhile, as you said, tops...

    Camera Mount Thoughts

All, Now that I have my BI all up and running, my inventory of 3 hodgepodge cameras is disappointing me. I figured I would take advantage of Andy's coming Dahua Spring sale and pick up a couple of new cameras for my driveway coverage. The driveway is fairly large, ultimately a 3 car garage...

Able to view all live cameras/groups on Roku!

Agreed, that is what I think is going on as well. Even the help file within the Roku app states you can only use https with the "snapshot" url, so maybe it is an area that is beyond the capability of the Roku hardware/software.

    Much Appreciated!

And "a bit" might just have to be a day! I will definitely be looking at that, thanks for letting me know!

    Much Appreciated!

I have recently joined after buying Blue Iris, but have been lurking here on and off for quite a while. I finally purchased a used BI machine off of Ebay and have been going for full-bore since then with my hodgepodge of 3 cameras.. one of which is a Panasonic BB511A.. I can't believe it even...

Able to view all live cameras/groups on Roku!

I think I will have to try that. To be honest, I just followed another thread on setting up Stunnel and one setting I saw was HTTPS on LAN but I am not really sure why I would need that. I will test out removing that and trying again with Roku. I do have the fixed IP on the Roku and it...

Able to view all live cameras/groups on Roku!

Thank you. No, I have HTTPS LAN also checked in the web server settings. So even locally I have to use https: I did happen to poke around in the Roku app a bit and found a help section that had some good information. It did address the https issue, stating that "You can use HTTPS only with...

Able to view all live cameras/groups on Roku!

I figured it was worth a revive of this thread to ask specifically if anyone has gotten this to work using Stunnel, as that is the only thing I can think of which could be causing my issues. My setup: Stunnel with 8080->81 - works perfectly for both WAN and LAN access for the Blu Iris App...
