Blue Iris - Random Network Issues with Cameras low FPS

The problem cameras i cant even log into them individually cause they keep timing out. They receive an ip address and then drop out. So when im in the web interface of these cameras they time out quick. I doubt its the buffer. It is either the router or switch. I suspect more its the router...

Blue Iris - Random Network Issues with Cameras low FPS

I did a straight ethernet connection from my pc to the switch running cable from stairs to garage. The problem is still there. I noticed something. The poe max led green light is not on in the switch. Could that mean its going bad Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Blue Iris - Random Network Issues with Cameras low FPS

I only have 1 set of powerline adapters. I use that to connect the main poe switch to the router. If i use that to link the pc directly to the switch, then there wont be a connection for dhcp that router assigns to switch. Im not a network guru i can only validate my hands on with trial and...

Blue Iris - Random Network Issues with Cameras low FPS

HI All, I need a little advice here. I posted about this problem before here in the forum but it seems like its getting worst. I have a PC upstairs that runs BI and i can access it with my smart phone. The router upstairs which is an AC1900 Netgear Router is hooked up to a POE switch in my...

3 Hikvision Cameras and one of them at night loses signal to router

I unplugged the other 2 Hikvision cameras and still the problem camera didn't come on. So what I did was unplug my other 4 foscam wireless cameras, restarted the POE switch, restarted the router, and restart my pc. After that all Hikvision cameras worked.

3 Hikvision Cameras and one of them at night loses signal to router

I can try that. I'll take down the 2 other cameras and just leave this problem camera connected if to isolate the probem. If that fixes it then the poe switch is at capacity. If not then it might be the cable as u mentioned. I'll try this at night Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

3 Hikvision Cameras and one of them at night loses signal to router

I have the 3MP cameras. All 3 work fine during the day but at night starting 8:30 PM up until about 6 AM (when the IR light is needed), one of them the fps goes down to 0 and loses signal. I have toyed with my router changed settings, even rebooted the cameras, and nothing, the problem is still...

    stunnel

To add to all of this, you need to port forward 8777. You don't need to port forward 8666 since 8666 is only local to your server. 8777 is what needs to be opened so its open with respect to your IP address. Also your file has to be like this: [blue-iris] accept = 8777 connect = 8666 cert =...

Low FPS on POE Cameras on BI (Networking issue?)

Hi All, I have Blue Iris and my POE cameras are 960p. I'm in the process of upgrading to some Hikvision cameras 1080p. I tested one by removing an existing 960p camera and plugging in a 1080p Hikvision camera on the POE router. It didn't work out which I am trying to troubleshoot right now and...

Problem - 3MP Hikvision POE EXIR Outdoor Cameras (Can't pick up IP Address)

That's not the problem. If my router cannot give it an IP address, then it just trumps any effort for me to even use SADP to change the IP address of the camera. My problem is my router is not giving it any IP address. So my question is, do I have to change my subnet to get the camera to go on...

Problem - 3MP Hikvision POE EXIR Outdoor Cameras (Can't pick up IP Address)

Hi All, I recently bought some Hikvision outdoor cameras from some guy on Craigslist. I connected one on my POE router to set it up and my Router is not giving it an IP address. My Gateway IP is 192.168.1.1 with a 255.255.255.0 subnet mask. And in the manual, it says the default IP of the...

Back up Instantly during an alarm event or trigger event?

I think this would be a good feature for BI to add in their future software version/updates. Let's say your house went on fire and everything was being backed up locally or your footage only backs up at certain times and not at that moment, you lose all footage because now your local back up is...

Back up Instantly during an alarm event or trigger event?

Is there a way to instantly backup clips for Blue Iris if let's say it picks up a trigger or if let's say your home alarm goes off? The backup method would be a remote FTP site. Right now I have everything backing up to a local FTP drive within the same home, I'd like to set something up that it...
