Looking for a video doorbell that complies with this list:

Ah damn you are right.. sheesh my bad It’s the actual cams. Im sure it’s just a matter of time for the doorbell too though. Makes more sense for that then the actual cams.. Damn I thought the doorbell had the same settings

Looking for a video doorbell that complies with this list:

When I go into my doorbell settings there is a wizard for RTSP... I have not done it as the hub is adequate for me right now. Mind you I may fool around with it eventually. Nice thing about Eufy is you can plant their cams all over the place where you couldn’t bring power to, thought you can’t...

    Firmware - Just Ordered IPC-5442T-ZE

That’s good, yeah I have no issues with flashing it but it’s always preferred to have a working one and not having to do it thus reducing the risk of bricking it. Hope I get the “new hardware” ;)

Looking for a video doorbell that complies with this list:

I have a Eufy Doorbell. Does Rtsp which I don’t use but rather it saves to a base station even though I have a NAS box. Has No cloud fees...supposed to work with HomeKit too. Works good for me..

    Firmware - Just Ordered IPC-5442T-ZE

I just made a order for this as was wondering if it comes with the latest FW from EmpireTech when it ships its out or will I need to update it out of the box? I assume it has the latest most stable on it by default. I want to try one and then eventually replace others if this cam suits my...

True, that’s why I only have 1 cam on it 100% I was just lazy.. plus I have it configured for the best channels per my environment and neighbours routers so we are not fighting. The Eufy are wifi but they are just motion only so not really hogging anything unless they get triggered. I’m...

I have a Asus AX6000 and a Asus GT-5300 in AiMesh so plenty of wifi going on there ;) But I will put the one I have on wifi right now to powerline when it gets replaced. I have my Eufy Cams hidden in trees where I can’t get power and honestly they are not that bad.

I appreciate the feedback! Out of the 3 only 1 if a wifi continuous connection as I have Ethernet for the other 2 with wifi turned off. I didn’t do POE as I have power in the shed. I actually prefer Ethernet over Wifi for sure.. it was just a backup consideration incase my powerline wasnt able...

Thank you, i will take a look at that sheet. Yeah they were definitely not the most expensive that’s for sure. I kind of just jumped in without really doing a ton of research.. my bad. I’ve checked the reviews I’m here and I appreciate those that have done so. Well for right now I won’t be...

I was just hoping someone would be able to recommend I have a Synology DS1520+ which I think can handle 3 cameras quite easily with its eyes closed ;)

Hehe I’m not a programmer... So I understand the before and after pixel motion but only afterI realized I probably bought the wrong cameras. I’ve read a few threads on Dahua Cameras that handle these light changes very well thus eliminate a lot of these false detections. Guess I’ll try one of...

Thx for the reply. For the Reolinks I’m using PowerLine connected to a switch so no wifi on them. The Amcrest is wifi actually but I could do the same setup via a powerline adapter. I don’t turn on lights in the front if My house as there are streetlights and sometimes when they flicker On and...
