Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

You sir, are a lifesaver! I had my audio on, but the encode mode was on G.711A and changed it to AAC. Now RTMP works again straight from the cam to YT.

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

Nice, I can't stream directly from my Dahua cam anymore....dunno what has happened but it worked fine for a year ago. With Live Broadcast from my Synology NAS it works, but the stream doesn't stay online and stops after a while.

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

I left that option disabled too, no need for enabling it. It looks like YouTube changed something, because I can use VLC player to watch the camera live via rtsp. Using the settings with rtmp don't work anymore, typical.

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

Unbelievable, this is so frustrating....the stream did end again and I'm about tog give it up. Unfortunately I don't have a Linux machine, other than mij Synology NAS. Now I even can't use RTMP straight from my Dahua cam anymore, which worked fine before. I used this setup guide for it but none...

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

After several tests and attempts to livestream continuously using my Synology NAS and Dahua cams, I ran into solution. At least, I hope so... I am testing it right now and for those who ran into the same problem, maybe this will resolve the problem of streams that stop after a certain time:

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

Edit: after testing with Synology Surveillance Station, I now started to rest with rtmp directly to YouTube. That seems to work fine also and I’m curious how long the livestream stays online. I also tried OBS Studio, but I couldn’t get it running. Someone know how to set it up with a Dahua cam...

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

My stream died today, but was a personal record.....72 hours and 41 minutes. I've started a new session, let's see if I can top the PR :)

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

@TonyR I've noticed that your livestream stopped and you started a new one again. Did you see specific notifications in YouTube Studio (stream status).

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

True that, but I already use a Synology NAS and with Surveillance Station there's a tool called Live Broadcast for sending your livestream to YouTube, and that works pretty well if you use the right settings. Because of the limitations I will experiment with OBS Studio in the near future. With...

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

Not an exact duration, it varied every time but mostly after a couple of hours. I never succeeded for more than 10 hours until now. At first I thought it had something to do with my ISP, but that wasn't the case.

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

@area651 is your livestream working fine at the moment? I am using Synology's Live Broadcast too, and I think I have the right settings now for YouTube. My stream is live for more than 24 hours now, and I keep my fingers crossed it will stay on 24/7. I am pretty sure it is a combination of...

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

I made some changes in my camera settings and the stream looks more stable now. It's live for over 10 hours now, and that a personal record! Fingers crossed it will stay online.....

Does anyone LiveStream their camera on youtube?

How does that work for you? I'm still testing, also via Synology Live Broadcast, but I can't stream 24/7 because the stream gets aborted after different runningtimes. This is my channel

    IPC-T5442T-ZE mic audio problem

Maybe try an older firmware? If that doesn’t change a thing I think it is broken….

I don't think so, but just to be sure...that's what I would do to rule things out

    Strange behaviour video/artifacts IPC-T5442T-ZE

I've played around with some settings and also noticed the remark about the substream (1080P). My new settings: Should I also enable Sub Stream 2 or do I leave it disabled? The new settings resulted in a much better picture, and I think I got rid of those artifacts as far as I can see.

My new settings: Because it's 01.00 am here right now, I can't check the daylight results. I will report back later today. Thanks all for helping me out and try to solve this issue, I appreciate it a lot!

My current settings for my backyard cam: I will try your recommended settings and will check in broad daylight if it will help solve this behaviour.

    Strange behaviour video/artifacts IPC-T5442T-ZE

I've tried the factory default too, but it didn't solve it. My bitrate type is already CBR with 15FPS and 15 I Frame Interval. I'm also using H.265 The video is only from Mainstream, I can try to change my backyard cam with the frontyard cam, and vice versa, to see if it makes a difference.

    Strange behaviour video/artifacts IPC-T5442T-ZE

Today I finally found the time to install my second IPC-T5442T-ZE in my backyard which I bought almost a year ago from Andy (due to medical problems I wasn't able to pull UTP in the crawl space beneath our house). Unfortunately the picture showed some strange behaviour as seen in the short clip...

IPC-T5442T-ZE IPC-T5442TM-AS IPC-T5842T-ZE SMD 3.0 Smart IR Latest New Firmware From EmpireTech

I was aware of that, that's why I've uploaded the two screenshots so you could see the difference between two browsers. Now I'm installing both cams again using Synology Surveillance Station, and was wondering which one to use best...the Dahua (Synology supported) or the ONVIF one?

IPC-T5442T-ZE IPC-T5442TM-AS IPC-T5842T-ZE SMD 3.0 Smart IR Latest New Firmware From EmpireTech

I just did and happy I did it. Since the beginning I was using Chrome as browser and I thought it worked fine. After reading different posts I've decided to update using Internet Explorer. Right after logging in I've noticed way more icons in the livestream than I ever did before (see bottom...
