@IceK - Smart Detection does not have the intrusion box, that is within the Deep IVS rules. I would recommend setting it up within the web GUI and not SmartPSS. The EIS is turned on on your profile screen where you adjust brightness/contrast etc. Turn that off and that message should go away.

I'd knock gain down - try knocking down by 5 and keep adjusting until you get the image you are looking for. Mine is horrible without HLC at 50 and I am not as straight on as yours.

The NVR is just as capable of being hacked as your DVR was. Very few companies provide timely updates to these units to plug security issues.

Just a distinction - for analog cams it is a DVR and it is an NVR for ip cameras - so make sure that $50 unit is indeed an NVR. P2P is simply a method to make a camera "plug and play" for the consumer where they can simply scan a code and it pulls up on an app, but it needs an internet...

Can you get an ethernet cable from the DVR to a computer? If so, then you can just do that and pull up on computer and skip the router.
