Well, decided to give 5.8.8.8 a go since there has been no update for a few days. So far 15 hrs in and not one error and no restarts of BI service. Also, My AI settings are the same as they have been for a year or so and it is working perfect. Not sure if this was in help file before or not but...

Same here...all of the 5.8.8.x have been a struggle on my system. AI timeouts and restarts as well. I also don't understand the digital zoom thing but going to sit this one out till later.

Not sure about your Reolink, but you can always use the Onvif viewer to rule out if it is a BI issue. If the Onvif viewer can't connect then the problem lies in the camera. More than likely it is due to a Onvif authentication issue.

Well, I got it now. Wondering does the service settings change when BI has an update? Mine was set back to automatic instead of Automatic delayed start. Anyway, something else to keep an eye on when testing :)

Thank you, For some reason mine was set back to automatic, why ?? beats me, but I had that changed a long time ago :) Anyway changed it and updated to 5.8.8.2 and then a reboot and it worked !

Having an issue with getting BI to show the custom models on the latest update 5.8.8.2 Rebooted 2 times and tried the start/stop AI in BI itself, no luck. Reverted back to 5.8.8.1 and they show up first time. I sent BI support a note.

Ken found an issue; he said it will be fixed. In the meantime you may have to start the AI service manually.

I also tested my shop alarm, worked great. I shut off my Mesh server this time and it processed the file on the BI machine. This sound will be very handy once AI sounds are added to BI. Hats off to the CPAI team !

This would get triggered a lot at my place LOL. I notice if I test a sound on BI machine it will use the Mesh Office machine and vice versa.

I'm sitting here at -4 and a WC of -40 yet my cam internal temp shows a balmy 33F. I am very happy it functions fine!

No need to reinstall, this is normal after a BI update. Just reboot computer and all will work again OR you can stop/start the CP service, which sometimes is a pain in the ass within BI. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. I prefer to reboot PC method.

Always try the F5 key to refresh screen when you don't see a option showing. Also make sure your BI shows the models in this box if you are using custom models. I just reboot the pc and it always seems to sync everything.
