You use the latest 5.66 firmware. You will need to use the Scott Lamb python script tftp server as the camera expects the tftp server to be found at 192.168.1.128

Do you have a hik nvr you can plug the camera and computer in? I still feel the switch has something to do with it. I had and continue to have the same issue when doing TFTP updates. Do you have any other cameras of this model to try or is it only a single one?

Sorry, I missed the pcap you attached. When you are attempting to capture are you using the webui for a reboot or a hard power reboot of the camera. I find I always have to do a hard power off for a few seconds then back on. If I use the WebUI it doesnt sent the WHO request for the TFTP server...

That is more advanced involving a python 2.7, a tftp script, and a poe router but I can teach you if your tech savvy. None of my laview cams have the priority firmware.

Since you're on firmware 3.96, I would factory reset the nvr, push the latest firmware to the nvr, then factory reset it again and you should be golden.

I noticed my "hik connect " nvr connection has been offline the past few days but I can see the nvr with the external port forwards via direct connection. So I ping litedev.us.hik-connect.com, which is hosted by amazon AWS and I get timed out. Anyone else?
