I've been trying out Codeproject AI 2.95. I have it enabled on one camera so far (YOLOv5 6.2). It is failing to detect people/cars, and I'm getting an error message most of the time when a person event is passed to it:
17:12:16:Response rec'd from Object Detection (YOLOv5 6.2) command 'detect'...
I've just installed the BI app on my Galaxy S24 Ultra phone (I am travelling, and using hotel wifi). I used QR code scanning to add the BI server (using my laptop and my VPN to access my BI server at home). I saved the server details, but when I then tried to connect I got an "unable to connect"...
I'm speccing up a replacement for my VM host - migrating from ESXi to Proxmox. My three VM's are:
Blue Iris running on Windows Server 2022 (10 cameras, direct to disk, event recording only)
Lubuntu running file server, Home Assistant, Logitech Media Server and web server
Windows 10 running a...
I have a 10 camera system on BI 5.6.2.3, and record only motion detection alerts. I'd like to spread the I/O load by recording different cameras to different disks, but can't find a way of doing it. Is this possible?
I have an internal lighting circuit which I'd like to use for a small BI-compatible wide angle camera. Virtually all indoor cams seem to be DC-powered (with an adapter).
Does anyone know of a BI-compatible camera which can be wired into a lighting circuit?
I currently run an ESXi 6.7.0 host with 3 guests:
- Windows Server 2022 running Blue Iris NVR (v5)
- Lubuntu 20 for Logitech Media Server, Plex Media server, Home Assistant, VPN, Mediawiki, Web Server and file server
- Windows 10 for PVR software & general testbed environment.

My Ezviz doorbell used to pop up notifications on my Moto G 5G Plus without me first having to unlock the phone. When I switched to a Samsung Galaxy A54 (running Android v13) it no longer does so. According to Ezviz support: "it's normal as we changed the feature in the updated EZVIZ app. So the...
My Ezviz doorbell used to pop up notifications on my Moto G 5G Plus without me first having to unlock the phone. When I switched to a Samsung Galaxy A54 (running Android v13) it no longer does so. I can hear the alert sound, but I need to turn on the display, unlock the phone using my...
My DB1C doorbell is not sending audio to Blue Iris (v5.6.2.3). I have it set up as a Generic/ONVIF device, and the video stream is fine. I have also enabled the audio channel. Audio works fine in the EZViz Android app. Any ideas??
I'm looking for an indoor camera with a zoom feature which can be controlled from the BI web UI. I was thinking about the Reolink E1 Zoom. Does anyone know if the optical zoom can be operated from the BU web interface?

I've been looking for some indoor cameras to replace a couple of the consumer PTZ models which I've had for quite a few years. I've found this one, which looks reasonably priced:

I've been using a light bulb V380 Pro camera with Blue Iris v5 for a year or so. It drops offline from time to time, but a power cycle usually fixes it. Now however I am getting "Error 8000274f (Failed to connect) 0" in Blue Iris, even though the camera is still viewable in the V380 Pro Android...
I have a number of cameras which are both hidden and disabled, but they still show up in the UI3 display. Is there any way of hiding them?
I'm running v5.5.7.9 x64
Is there any way that Blue Iris can trigger a Home Assistant automation when it detects that no signal is being received from a camera? I have most of my cameras plugged into smart sockets, and would like to perform a power cycle whenever any of them goes offline.
I'm running Blue Iris v5 and...
I have an Ezviz DB1C smart video doorbell, and have bought a Byron 776 chime to go with it, as it was on the compatibility list for the DB1C (Compatibility List for DB1 & DB1C Chime - FAQ - EZVIZ Support).
The Byron has an internal 8V transformer, but Ezviz have advised that the DB1C needs a...
I have a DB1C video doorbell with the Ezviz wireless chime. The wireless chime is far too quiet, so we often don't hear it (we have a 3-storey house).
I was thinking about getting a separate hard-wired chime for the DB1C, and then wondered whether it would be possible to integrate it with my...
I bought an Ezviz wireless smart chime 2 months ago, and paired it with my Ezviz DB1C smart video doorbell. Up until now they have been working fine together, but a couple of days ago the smart chime stopped responding when the DB1C doorbell was pressed. I still get alerts on my phone, but the...
I’ve just installed a new Ezviz DB1C video doorbell. I have it up and running on my Android phone (Motorola Moto G 5G), and would like to share it with my wife so that she can get full access to the doorbell’s features from her phone.
I have installed the Ezviz app on my wife’s phone (a Pixel...
I'm trying out the demo version of BI v5. When I look at the Clips view in the web UI (ui3,htm) none of my clips (recorded with BI v4) seem to have a valid date stamp - only a time is shown for each clip, The date header on the top left of the window shows a date of January 19th, 1970. If I try...
I have a TP-Link Tapo C200 cam which is onvif compliant (including PTX). I've created a username and password for the cam using the Tapo app, and can access the live video stream using Onvif Device Manager. When I add the camera to BI, entering the user id and password and using the "inspect...
I've just received this via Blurams' crowdfunding campaign (I'm in the UK). While it has some nice features (e.g. face detection, Google Home integration and free lifetime cloud storage), I can't get it to reliably notify me (on my Android phone) when someone presses the doorbell. Basically I...
I've just ordered one of these to provide lighting and camera coverage for my front door. It doesn't suppprt RTSP, but I was wondering whether anyone had worked out a way of getting a video stream from it that can be fed into 3rd party apps (e.g. Blue Iris)?
I have a hacked Yi Cloud Dome 1080P configured with Blue Iris. The rtsp video stream works fine, but I don't seem able to get PTZ control from BI. Is this actually possible?
I'm looking for an outdoor cam with built-in LED floodlight and the Netatmo Presence is the only option that I've found so far. Does anyone know if it works with Blue Iris 4?
I just got one of these for a super-cheap price:
960P 1080P 3MP 5MP Wireless Panoramic IP 3D VR Camera WIFI Bulb Light FishEye Surveillance 360 Degrees CCTV Home Security Camera
It was easy to set up using the ICSee app on my phone, and works well. I'd really like to get this hooked up to Blue...
My Vstarcam C7837WIP stopped transmitting a video signal yesterday (although it still responds to pings), and cannot be accessed from its web interface.
When I power cycle the camera the ring of infrared red LEDs on the front of the camera light up dimly for about 10 seconds before going out...
I have a couple of IP cameras which frequently drop out - the BI stream showing "no signal" - but the loss of signal watchdog doesn't trigger (I have scripts configured to execute, but they don't). What exactly causes BI to register a "loss of signal" event?
I'm running BI v4 on Windows 2008...
One of my IP cams frequently drops out (i.e. stops sending a signal), and needs to be power cycled to restore it. The BI (v4) option to power cycle it on loss of signal does not do anything when the cam signal drops, so I have plugged the cam into an Energenie Mihome smart plug, and want BI to...
I've been trying to use IFTTT to change my Blue Iris profile, using IFTTT's Webhooks service to send the appropriate HTTP request to my BI server. If I fire off the HTTP request below from a web browser it corrrectly sets my BI profile to 3 (I have port 90 redirected to my BI server on my...
