If that were only possible. Not only did they disable field downgrades in later firmware versions, they don't offer firmware downloads on their USA website any more. They were pulled and now only certified technicians have access to them and even they can't downgrade. There were some rumors... -

Yea, this is either a bug that apparently still isn't fixed in 5.6.11 or it was intentional due to patent litigation. It's also around the time that a number of models that originally had smart tracking, but not advertised, had it removed with later firmware updates. If Hikvision doesn't provide... -

I have 3 DS-2DF8236 series cameras. These are the huge $3500 ones that have or at least had excellent tracking. Two of my cameras have v5.4.9 and track perfectly. The third has v5.6.0 and can't track hardly at all. It seems obvious that the algorithm was updated either intentionally or a bug... -

I'm building a shed. I'd like to timelapse document it. I have PTZ camera that I'd like to auto record when move it to a preset. I don't see any obvious way to do this other than clone the camera. If I clone the camera, then I guess I could leave it disabled until I want to record. When I... -

20 years ago, when I had just 4 cameras, they were all black and white, even during the day, and analog with BNC connectors. 4 thickish cables running to a PC with video capture cards. I don't miss those days. -

It's right there on the manufacturers page: https://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/All-Products/HDCVI-Cameras/Pro-Series/4K/Starlight/HAC-HFW2802T-A-I8 Says 12 volt power adapter and nothing about POE. The users manual doesn't have POE in it even once. -

I ordered a HAC-HFW2802T-A-I8 and got something entirely different that looks similar but ended up being a iMaxCamPro HCC3181T-IR with a 1/2.7" sensor vs the 1/1.9 that the Dahua comes with. The camera looks similar and has similar specs until you dig deeper. Anyways, it was then while digging... -

Reolink high F stop and flying bugs....

That doesn't work for me. When I add that string to the "custom models" text box, I get "nothing found" for each analyzed image. Also, the normal CPU usage of 5 to 7% for the entire machine is now sitting at 30% between python continually running and Windows Image Acquisition which is account... -

So are you saying every camera AI instance uses all custom models unless you specify which one you want and then it only uses what you specify for each camera? -

That's the point. I haven't mentioned ANY models in the AI setup of any camera. Simply turning on the "Use custom model folder" in the global settings and adding dark.pt to that folder results in DS going from 200 ms to 5000 ms for image processing. -

So if I have a custom model in MyModels and don't list that model in the "Cutom models" box of a camera, the model is still used any ways? That doesn't make sense. -

Where are DS images stored?
That's right. Even if you aren't actually using a custom model for any of the cameras, the CPU spikes huge for DS even if no cameras have the dark model selected. Send Ken an email. -

I'm seeing similar results. Simply adding the dark.pt file to MyModels results in non dark processing jumping from about 200ms to 3000ms+ even when I don't add dark to the camera AI custom models section.
