5.0.4 - September 16, 2019 - Sentry Alert View
FYSA: I am getting memory leaks with any version of 5.0.4.x. Intel gfx driver has a signature date of 6/27/19 and was not changed (nor was anything else, other than the version of BI). Hardware acceleration cuts out intermittently
Playback still isn't as good as it looks from the RDP view. I agree, if there was some kind of delay that included a buffer to make the images look better, I'd be ok with that. -

Tried remote management out. The images are so blurry/pixelated to the point where they're pretty much unwatchable (you can't tell an F-150 from a Silverado, just a blob shaped like a pickup truck). Definitely didn't know you could do this in demo mode. Thank you very much for the info! Will try this out tonight. Not sure what the specs were on Youtube guy's setup, but I'll report back and see how it runs for me. If it works well, I'll just get another license. Thanks again. -

I see that NVIDIA has a CUDA Toolkit. I might see what that tells me. I wonder if the two video cards just aren't playing nicely with BI in tandem. I don't remember it doing this when I just had the RTX 2060 installed. I'll disable the GT 1030, and max out the video decode capabilities on the... -

Upgraded to BI5. The hardware acceleration is still cutting out when the MP/s is over 2000. This isn't really dependent on CPU load. When I increase the framerate on the cameras, the CPU load will still be in the 80% range, but the video decode and CUDA will drop to near nothing on the GPU's... -

Most current Nvidia drivers are loaded (8/27 release date, per Nvidia). Conveniently enough, the 2060 and 1030 use the same driver, so they play nicely together. I added the 1030 about a month ago and it's been working well in tandem to handle the overflow loads from upgrading cams. Nothing... -

I forgot to mention that as well. I have 17 total cameras up at the moment, with a variety of different mfgs. Hikvision, Amcrest, Foscam, Grandstream, etc. All of them hold steady on the bitrate per BI. The only other ones that don't are the POS Reolink cams that I bought before I knew any... -

IPC-HFW1831E - Actual bitrates showing higher than configured
I recently deployed a pair of IPC-HFW1831E's (one 4mm, one 6mm), running the 190404 firmware. I set them to the highest bitrate available (11264kbps) running CBR (see screenshot), but they are lingering between 14000 and 19000 kbps per Blue Iris. Anyone know what could be causing this? Maybe... -

My RAID 5 array (Stored) benchmarks at around 150MB/s seq read, whereas the m.2 SSD that I use for new clips benchmarks around 1700 MB/s seq read. The primary m.2 that has the OS and BI DB is doing 3500 MB/s read. Blazing fast. It may not help, but it sure doesn't hurt. I was planning a new... -
