    I am more worried about setting the cameras up. I can view with a android app or the security software I use. Sighthound video. I do have a local Web page with all my cameras on it for a quick view from any computer in the house. I will loose that option also

    Just came back in to do a little work. Found that SADP has seen the camera as DS-2cd-Min..... I pulled a log from it as I could use PuTTy and hook right to it without any problems.     Yes. You will connect via your Lan. You will not be using any bandwidth. Plug nvr into router. Let router set a ip address for you or assign a static address. Connect using that address.     Just log onto the NVR via your local ip address for it... 192.168.xxx.xxx I have a system setup with no Internet service at all. NVR is hidden in a closet. Use a laptop to access it all the time.
