Looking for suggestions to replace Dahua eyeball cam for coverage including packages left below. Boobie cam, wedge or panoramic?

Had this happen once before but can't figure why motion does not get recorded. Vehicle in scene and seconds later vehicle gone without recording of individual walking up to car or even moving vehicle.- Redbone

Hikvision 7608NXI NVR and Dahua Camera
Best to keep same brand when using a dedicated hard NVR I found or go with something like Blue Iris when mixing camera brands. Found Dahua NVR offers more features and more choices than Hikvision offers for a better value. Do like the Hikvision cameras. -

Having to reset the time on my IPC-HDW2831TM-AS-S2 often by 1 hour. I've turned off all auto reboot feature on camera and NVR, confirmed time zone on both and turned off ntp check on both but still have to change the time on my camera daily lately. Frustrating time stamps of my 1 hour daily. -
Some recent experience from a relative newbie regarding Dahua, Uniview and Hikvision installs.
Had a couple of years installation of installing Dahua I.P. cams with their midgrade NVR's. As expected some quirks but generally good value and workable. Recently installed a 4 Cam 4meg Hikvision system which included a Hik POE NVR. Two weeks ago setup a recent 5meg Uniview I.P. bullet style... -

Odd feature got it to function once but doesn't repeat flashing lights after single event. Thinking a firmware fix is needed here although I have the latest firmware posted. -

Willl try these ideas. Turned off motion week back but same issue. Will try IVS tripwire then move on to camera light off and implement off lighting with night sensor or timer. Thanks for the tips. -

Hi from Ontario Canada. Have 2x Dahua 5MP Fixed lens with Night Color. These use a white led which allows me to control brightness. Have it set fairly low. Having issues with moths and similar bugs triggering NVR recordings. Have no such issues with 2 other cams with I..R. Any suggestions welcome.
