I have a 2231T that has been working great since I got it, no problems whatsoever. Today I decided to move it. When I connected it back up....nothing, nada, zip. It is using the same cable from the old position, I just re-routed it to the new position. I have tried connecting it via the...

    PC Help, Lagging Video

I had previous problems with choppy video and lag when I was viewing BI PC through RDP from my office PC, including exported video. When viewing directly on the BI PC everything was fine. I changed to viewing remotely via UI3 and everything is now silky smooth. Cheers, Aaron

    Alerts deleted when disc full

@SouthernYankee below are the screen shots. Disk allocation looks OK. @bp2008 I think you may be correct. I've never seen any files in the "Alerts" folder. I haven't done a db repair yet, just wanting to get some feedback first on the setup to make sure it's all OK. It just seems strange that...

Hi, Just noticed that my "New" HDD is 99% full today. everything seems to be fine and older clips are being deleted as I would have expected as newer clips are added. However, I did notice that alerts seem to not be playing so nice. It looks like when the "New" HDD became full, all the alerts...

    clip errors

Thanks SouthernYankee. The PC is used for BI only and the USB drive is my "New" folder only. I've just had a look in the PC (Dell 9020 SFF with service tag BC9TG52) and there is a blue HDD caddy that has a 7mm SSD in it with space for another HDD. I'll have to workout what size fits and...

    Poe switch in roof space

just looking at how to install Poe switch & cabling for easiest/best results. I was thinking to have each camera cat6 cable terminate into a single Poe switch in the roof space and then have one cable from the Poe switch connect through a wall plate to my bi pc. Is this the preferred...

    Cameras and security lights

    Cameras and security lights

Thanks guys, very much appreciated. I think my next step is to purchase a couple of cameras work out the best place for them and see whether extra lighting is needed. I like the idea of dusk to dawn lighting. Maybe not to the extent of JNDATHP though . I do however like the idea of solar garden...
