    Is there a way to fix the slow frame rate you see with Microsoft RDP? I getting about 2 frames a second. I don't see anything in the setting and I have my RDP setting set to lan with all the options on.

    How accurate is it? I never had good luck with motion lights, but I think the Blue Iris software works differently. It sounds like it actually analyzes video on the fly looking for changes. Do many users feel comfortable only using the motion setting within Blue Iris?

    I will have 5 or so Hikvision turret cameras connected to a Blue Iris server in my basement. I have a 4tb drive, but not sure if I want to record 24/7. How well does the motion detection work? Do you use the Blue Iris software or the motion feature on the camera to trigger the event?

    Thanks! I ordered 1 2.8 and 4 4.0mm cams. Got some wires ran from the basement to the garage. Hopefully this weekend I can run them up the attic the correct location. Provided it cools down some. Temps have been in the 90's and I dread working in the attic.
