    My cam is getting great vid of license plates on 90% of vehicles that pass at night. Some cars have very bright brake lights that make the license plate vid/pic hard to read. My night profile has "Backlight" set to OFF. Gain is set to default which is 50. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this...

    lost screw for dahua mount

    thank you. 3/8" is approx 1/2 of an inch. i feel the screw is approx 1.8 of an inch or 2mm approx. about the width of a pencil eraser. maybe i am wrong. how did you get that dimensions? i looked, and could not find them. i appreciate the assistance. i will check out home depot.

    Is anyone using the IPC-HDW5231R-Z for short distance LPR? If so, how is the quality? I simply wanted the ability to review license plate vids after the fact and was not sure quality was. My distance from cam to car would be 20-25ft. I do have an illuminator in the area.
