    It looks like Vonnic is selling rebranded Dahua so Dahua wouldn't provide the warranty coverage or support. Just like LTS is rebranded Hikvision. LTS provides all support and warranty for their products.

    Looks like a drug deal to me...

    It's a 20X Huisun Speed Dome and the video quality is great. The IR's are really powerful. Less buggy than the mini PTZ but still not perfect.

    It was a paid job so I needed something solid. Too many issues with power line adapters. The Ubiquiti Nanostation M5's are like Ronco Rotisserie Ovens. Set it and forget it.

    I thought only Hikvision locked down their cameras by region and specific firmware and Dahua was wide open. Today I was looking to purchase a Dahua on Ebay and noticed sellers are selling them like Hikvisions. "Chinese product / English Firmware /can't be upgraded" Lot's of Dahua ebay...

    Unless you change it in the Common Settings it will still use the light sensor to switch from day to night. As for WDR, for cameras I actively manage I adjust the WDR start and end times several times a year. For those I don't, I just set WDR to start at 7AM and turn off at 6:30PM...

    As you discovered DWDR is pretty much worthless. Also use auto scheduling to turn off WDR at night and back on in the morning. WDR at night introduces a ton of noise.

    Use a junction box like the one here only without the conduit. Drill a small hole through the brick just big enough for the Cat5 and terminate everything in the junction box.

    Where I live it's illegal to block the sidewalk although it rarely gets enforced unless someone complains. However, if a child gets hit by a car because you forced them into the street by blocking the sidewalk you can and probably will get sued. Just something to think about. Also, check...

    I wish it was that simple. This is something different. Even when I reset the cameras I get no OSD on main stream when set to 3MP. Looks like I will be contacting LTS tech support Monday.
