In my old job I worked with a local firm that would recycle truckloads of office pcs and other equipment for me. They did a great job of reconditioning the ones that were worth it, and I did buy a printer or two from them after I retired. Unfortunately, I think they're out of business. Not sure... -

That's an economical option for sure! I'm not sure if I want to go with used. Temping, though. What's the other end of the spectrum? A system based on one of the processors I mentioned? Even buying new, the configuration you suggest would be less money and time than I was fearing. -

Web Interface with Auto Cycle?
By "rotation" I meant to say auto-cycle. Those settings don't seem to give me an auto-cycle option when I access BI stream via Windows pc through web interface. Or, are you suggesting I run another instance of BI console on the laptop?- revbilly

Amcrest IP2M-841 Configuration Frustration
Do you notice your IP2M-841 getting unusually warm? The reconditioned one I returned reached 180°F after three hours. I returned it and bought a new one. It doesn't get as hot as that, but it does get pretty warm. I've never had a little PT webcam heat up like this before. Should I be worried? -

Can't connect from WAN
If it was just a matter of bandwidth I'd probably go with VPN, but I also have a monthly data limit. The overhead for VPN would make that limit even more restrictive. In any case, it's all working just fine, now that I woke up and changed the network type on my new BI server.- revbilly

Sending Foscam R2 back to the pit from which it emerged

--------- IP on BI machine is same as before. Local links still work. Webserver port is 8081, same as before. Note- I can get to it from a local machine using my router's WAN address and port 8081. I'm probably missing something obvious.- revbilly

I start the new version of BI and enter my license code. License cod accepted. I click on the Options icon in the upper left corner and choose Import Settings and select the BlueIris.reg file.
