    thanks, email is sorted also the ONVIF is working now with authentication too. I did not notice i had to add a separate user for onvif, so it is fine now. Good cam, i try to explore more and more on it.

    hikvision NVR can connect using ONVIF: needs to turn off ONVIF auth on the dahua and on NVR side add username but no password and port 80. When i enabled auth it just could not connect.

    I have been using a Foscam FI9828P for a few years and now the picture of the camera became PINK color. I did reset, and tried to manually correct the colors, no luck. Have you guys seen such before??? Why it shows now only pink color?? Is there any way to fix it?

    Okay experts, you were right, after one 1 week the Wifi link went off, Ubnt AP has no problem but the Foscam PTZ Wifi went silent... Really I must never ever trust the Foscam Wifi, i must build the whole WLAN network with Ubnt devices and hardwire all cams to the nodes....

    sucks if you can not afford to invest a proper server and separte LAN for that, or you cant configure it properly. Only reason I vote for a NVR as they have alarm connectors, otherwise the software NVR (zoneminder) do a perfect job with many even 4megapixels cams too.
