    What China model is this?

Please provide a link. I don't think we've seen that camera yet. They have a bullet with that 1/1.8" sensor (IPC-HFW2831T-ZS) but we've never seen a turret (IPC-HDW2831T-ZS).

Blue Iris only has a day and a half of recording after updating to BI5

I really need to have this saved somewhere so I can paste it: Since you are only using your D: drive, and not storing the old recordings on another drive, don't use stored. db on C: alerts on C: new on D: stored - don't use. Unallocate the drive, or set it back to C: and set the size to 0...

    Rack mount power supply

I have a Cyberpower 700VA rackmount one (OR700LCDRM1U), and it's no longer sufficient for how I want it to work. Previously it was sufficient, just powering my cable modem and wifi router, to keep internet alive for 2+ hours on laptops & devices when the power goes out. Now that I have cameras...

    Prebuffer setting ignored in 5.0.2.0?

Works on mine. Make sure you have your cameras i-frame interval set to the same as the FPS.

BI Motion Detection “missing” significant motion

I also find with edge vector you can reduce the make time

BI Motion Detection “missing” significant motion

His 2nd screenshot shows he's using edge vector. Before turning it off, try turning off the 'object size exceeds'. As soon as I switched to edge vector, I had to turn that off or it wouldn't pick up a car entering my driveway.

new hardware recomendation for 24 ip cameras = =1434 MP/s

For about $1100 you could build your own 2U rackmount system using an empty case and put in a Z390 motherboard and low profile Noctua CPU cooler. Keep the savings and put towards something else. I wouldn't want an I9-9900K in a 1U server, it'll probably have insufficient cooling.

^^ agreed. And why does it need to be a Dell rackmount?

Suggestions for a video card to offset CPU video processing?

SouthernYankee made suggestions based on what he uses, but we have no idea what changes you actually made. You already had h.264, hardware acceleration and direct to disk. The 'limit decoding' recommendation will significantly drop CPU. He also suggested lowering the FPS, but you haven't done...

Suggestions for a video card to offset CPU video processing?

Huh? DDR3-1200 doesn't exist. You probably have DDR3-2400 but you are looking at the clock rate and not the DDR toggle rate. As Fenderman suggested, there is something else wrong with your setup. Spend more time fixing it instead of wasting money (and added heat) on a video card.

Suggestions for a video card to offset CPU video processing?

You have three cameras at 20FPS, and two at 25FPS. Change those to 15. Higher MP and lower FPS is better than the other way around. Also your bitrates seem off on a number of cams, too low. eg the 3rd cam is 3MP but only 131 kB/s, it should be 4x that bitrate. And those 3rd and 4th last cams...

Suggestions for a video card to offset CPU video processing?

2x 2MP 25 FPS 7x 2MP 15FPS 3x 1MP 15FPS You are running 355 MP/s. That is nothing and your i7 should handle it fine. You said everything was fine until you added the last camera. I'd take Fenderman's suggestion and up the ram to 16GB, using two identical 8GB sticks to get dual channel as mech...

    Video Stutter

My system is not headless, but I get that if I upgrade to the latest video drivers for my i5-6600/HD 530. It's an old monitor with DVI only, no DP or HDMI. It's connected to the HDMI port on the motherboard, with an HDMI to DVI adapter plugged into the monitor. I have the computer set to turn...

My thoughts on the Edge Vector algorithm (work in progress)

It would behave the same with zone B, but yes I got rid of zone B. I still have zone G covering everything, so motion is tracked when it's outside zone A. I also had to get rid of 'object size exceeds' as it to doesn't work well with multiple zones and edge vector.
