    Got it. That's what I thought. So even low light like some of the solar spots could give enough light to help the night vision and not cause whiteout. I have a garden that I'm trying to do. What if lights came on before camera motion is activated. That can be done easily.

    I did some looking and closer to Uniview maybe. IR distance for recognize is 164 ft. Furthest for me is about 50 ft. With SmartPSS can set zone distance for alarms. Still have to setup NVR to see what's there. System was purchased in mid 2018.

    If you run through a router, it is simple on most. There is a section on newer ones to block/restrict MAC addresses at will. May be in Advanced settings area. I have a Motorola and can block what I choose on IP or Mac address.
