    If I enable illegal login detction, I get almost instant hits from my own Windows desktop. I tested with no ports forwarded, upnp off etc. What is not helpful is if you turn the account lock off, you don't get any illegal login logs at all.

    There are tow versions iVMS-4200 and the PCNVR. No, well there are entries but I think they relate to closing of the app after I have initiated a shutdown due to the app being hung. Task manager will not successfully terminate the process either once it is in that state.

    If you have found that it does, then it must! My NAS is consuming diskspace while my SD is card is not changing at all, so I know mine is not recording to both simultaneously. So it would appear the 2332 uses the card as a live second drive and the 2132 only as a fail over.

    Thanks for the reply. Having found some reference material I concur, it is the audio. The company I bought my DS-2CD2132F-I from sells the DS-2CD2132F-IS for a little less, which I find odd, although I have no need for audio.
