    Looking for Optical Zoom Camera

I am looking for an optical zoom camera that includes features like in the IPC-T54IR-AS. At Amazon there are several under $100 cameras, like the Reolink RLC-811A, Reolink RLC-1224A, HITOSINO HS-CUB04G2T-LIAZ, etc. They all claim to have ONVIF support. I need it to be fully compatible with Blue...

Blue Iris in LAN separate from Cameras VLAN with DD-WRT ?

I failed to mention that the Blue Iris server is an Intel NUC which is difficult to add a second NIC.

Blue Iris in LAN separate from Cameras VLAN with DD-WRT ?

Currently my Blue Iris server is on the 192.168.1.x VLAN with the cameras. I would like to move the Blue Iris server to the 192.168.0.x LAN and leave the cameras on the 192.168.1.x VLAN. With the DD-WRT router is it possible to bridge the cameras to only be accessible by the Blue Iris server...

    Blue Iris Trial?

I was surprised to see that Andy is offering the lower cost varifocal IPC-T2231T-ZS. How would you evaluate this low light camera?

    Blue Iris Trial?

Anyone know if Blue Iris works with the Dahua IPC-HFW4631F-ZSA described as 6Mp IP camera 2.7-13.5mm varifocal motorized lens built-in SD card slot and MIC IR 80Meter gun Camera. It's listed in the Dahua Franchised Store in Alibaba. In its description it says its ONVIF compatible. URL ref...

Dahua On-Camera Event Logging for 5442/Color4K-X

When IVS writes a file to the SD card - I assume then the file is pushed to Blue Iris - does the camera delete the file on the SD card? Can the SD card fill up with files - how is that managed?

Dahua On-Camera Event Logging for 5442/Color4K-X

From what I read in this thread the IVS feature in the 5442 may require an SD card. I have been trying to draw an intrusion IVS setting in the 5442 but every time I try to save it says to draw. Might the lack of an SD card in the camera be the problem?

I didn't find a 5442 named forum. Do I use the Ip Camera / Dahua forum?

    Blue Iris Trial?

I thought there was a way with the IPC-T5442TM-AS to config the camera to trigger only in a user defined region of the camera view. Checked camera settings but not sure where that feature is if it exists. Is this possible?

I had to turn off VLC hardware decoding. The previous comment abut potential problems with hardware decoding was right.

Just to make sure I brought over mp4 videos from other systems that all play correctly on the system with BI. This is a big problem. I have to be able to get videos out of BI. I'm stuck at this moment.

    Blue Iris Trial?

Re the optimization wiki on direct to disc recording section: under file format there are four options. The default setting is Blue Iris and FLAC audio compression. I tried the MPEG-4 setting and tried playing the MP4 files with VLC but it didn't work very well (codec needed?). Is the default...

My motherboard has a ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics controller. It has directx 10.1 support. Should I enable DirectX-VA2 or Direct3D11-VA in Blue Iris camera hardware accelerated decode? The other settings are for Intel and Nvidia so I assume they do not apply. ATI Radeon HD 4200 Manufacturer...

    Blue Iris Trial?

I am confused about camera video streams. The IPC-T5541H-AS-PV camera video configure stream profiles show no substream whereas in the camera the substream is enabled. I read somewhere that the substream is used to reduce recorded video on disk until an event trigger(?) If this is possible I...

The IPC-T5541H-AS-PV has RCA audio output. I remember someone added an external speaker to the camera but is there sufficient power in the RCA output or is PoE power also used?
