WTB - 4MP Cube Cams with POE Support

Looked for the same but didn't find, can you pm me the seller please, looking to buy 1 to test out; was the price due to the volume of units? Was also checking this out, I wonder if the configuration is done directly on the unit or only via the app. Imou | Enjoy Smart Life. The site doesn't even...

New Amcrest AD410 doorbell Cam Review

I recently purchased the Lorex 2K as the AD410 is not available for sale in Canada. As I was looking for cube camera options, I found this site that has both the cube camera as well as this doorbell camera: Imou | Enjoy Smart Life Looks like it's the same hardware packages OEMed from yet...

    Review-Dahua IPC-K42A 4mp Indoor Cube cam 2.8mm

Good thread and I'm glad I found it. I was looking at the Dahua IPC-K22A but wasn't able to find it anywhere on sale. Is this the predecessor that is mentioned here in this thread? I'd like to get one as it's small enough to replace the EZVIZ C1C I am now using as the baby monitor, and use it...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Can someone post the RTSP stream(s) for the lorex doorbells? I am only getting 1440 x 1080 on the Lorex 2K via just the IP without any additional suffix(es) as I can't find the format. Thanks

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Thank you for the link, never found that as i always searched for "lorex 2k". Going to buy, even though i would definitely prefer the amcrest.

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Here's all i found, which is not encouraging. Looking for a video doorbell that complies with this list: Please edit your "review" and add links to back up what you claim, or remove your claims as it's misleading and not based on facts. Much appreciated.

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Are you sure it can be added to blue iris, have you done that yourself and can confirm? I don't find any info that this will work with anything other than Lorex NVRs. Thanks I would prefer the amcrest version but it's not even sold in Canada, which is pretty dumb.

Audio and video out of sync on Amcrest IP2M-841

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is seeing this issue. I have BI 5 running with several cameras non Amcrest, but the IP2M-841 Amcrest audio is out of sync with the video. Ironically, this is my only camera that is wired. In the settings I have it recording direct to disk MP4, 24FPS. I don't get...

Comparison between Wyze C2, TP Link CP100, EZVIZ C1C

@Teken -Changing encryption password does NOT change the RTSP password, this is very basic security issue and it sucks that it cannot be changed. Other than this the C1C is really great, but this one thing along is making me consider sending it back; I have submitted a ticket to EZVIZ and see...

Comparison between Wyze C2, TP Link CP100, EZVIZ C1C

@Teken Turning on/off encryption in the mobile app (from what I understand) is to turn off encryption on photo/video that is recorded on the SD card? Is this not the case? In the mobile app, there is an option to change the encryption password, is this the code on the back of the camera that...

Comparison between Wyze C2, TP Link CP100, EZVIZ C1C

Good info, I didn't realize that, I didn't even know there was PC software (which is surprising in a good way with all companies now providing ONLY mobile apps). Still a hassle to have to install another app, this should be easily available via the mobile app as a on/off button. -So "change...

Comparison between Wyze C2, TP Link CP100, EZVIZ C1C

Hi, as I've been looking to switch off Wyze cams due to their garbage RTSP implementation, I've recently found the EZVIZ C1C and TP-Link CP100 to be (at least price wise) contenders for the Wyze Cam2. Note that I have ordered the WC3, but since there is no fw with RTSP support (which Wyze said...

    XTU 2k video doorbell

I never had a video doorbell, but have BI and a handful of cameras, most Wyze and 1 Amcrest. I'm actually returning it. Overall I would say that for the price $87 CAD, it's not bad, but for me it's not good enough due to a few things below I hooked it up on a makeshift vertical piece of wood and...

    XTU 2k video doorbell

I picked this up for $87 hoping it would be perfect. However I'm seeing that max fps is 15, and also when scanning with onvif device manager there is a second user with admin rights that I cannot find anywhere in the app. I wonder if this is a backdoor of some sort. Is anyone using one of...

    Blue Iris UI3

@bp2008 I wasn't aware of it having to transcode, it's not the only "tool" to do that, Plex does the same thing, but you can set the clients to actually play the direct video instead, if it supports local decode so the server side doesn't need to transcode it (in the case of BI, all my clients...

    Blue Iris UI3

Thank you (looks like it's fixed), someone recommended intalling the klite codec pack, but not on the server side. Interesting, ok this seems to have fixed the issue, but why is my question. I assumed that the remote side is actually playing back the video, and the server piece just streams the...

    Blue Iris UI3

Good day everyone. I have a quick question that I can't seem to find an "official" answer to. If I set up my cameras to record in MP4 direct to disk, does that mean I will never be able to play back any of the clips? I'm of course asking about clips that are in the past, and not currently...

Is there a standalone BVR viewer?

Yeah, seems like it - I sent an email to support as I have basic support.

Is there a standalone BVR viewer?

Yes, all MP4s play just fine with WMP, with the Photos app, etc. This is why I didn't expect Klite to do anything; the MP4 files play just fine with the Windows player(s) if I play them right form the location they are stored to (which is a NAS share).

Is there a standalone BVR viewer?

I instead the klite basic, no difference (as I expected). This has been an issue since I've set up BI, so it's not clear to me what is causing the issue... It's never worked playing back closed (for writing) files from GUI clip list, wgen set up to write to MP4 direct to disc...

Is there a standalone BVR viewer?

I'm not sure what you mean? My cameras are set up to record on motion, and combinethe clips of 4 hours (this never reaches even close to 1GB, except for 1 camera), and set up as direct to deisk in MP4 format. I'm not sure what your question applies to here - does setting it up this way make the...

Is there a standalone BVR viewer?

Whenever I try to play a clip that is saved as MP4 D2D (the file isn't open any longer) I get a yellow message: "the video stream was lost, attempting to reconnect" If I mouse over the actual clip in the list, it shows the popup running the time, but there is nothing moving in the clip; if I...

Is there a standalone BVR viewer?

Sorry, I wasn't clear, maybe didn't provide enough info. All my cameras are set to record MPEG-4, direct to disk (not in BVR mode). I also have all my cameras to combine all the clips, so I basically have 2 or max 4 clips (for the entire 24H period), from each camera. I cannot ever play back...

Is there a standalone BVR viewer?

For the record, HBBB (Handbrake Batch Beast) will convert the BVR files with handbrakecli (I don't use FFMPEG) as I use this program to batch convert my video all to HEVC. I didn't find any info so I just tried a small clip now, and it worked. Next is to get the 1 large file ouput from BI (I...
