    Been watching mine for the last few days. I can't say it's much different but I do think auto tracking is a bit more "wild" than before. My guide is when it tries to pick up small animals 70 yards away. It will generally zoom past them and search around at zoom out of focus all over the place...

    With a full sighthound account yet you can program it to learn people. If you haven't visited their site it's worth it for just what the capabilities are. Obviously when it's indoors with good lighting the recognition is way better for faces.

    I did not mention this. This is accounted for in a few ways. First the python script remembers the LAST vehicle detected. If triggered again and the last vehicle is the current vehicle it does not count it! This also works for situations I have where up to 3 cameras cover the driveway. Also...

    Try reducing the framerate down to 20 if it's not already. I thought I read about issues with tracking and high frame rates.

    I just did that. Same result. I also tried different folders for the backup with the same results. No backup. I also did an "export" from BI itself into the same folder and that worked fine.

    That's good and bad I guess. That's exactly what I expected to see. At first I was thinking folder permission problem...but the settings.ini writes just fine. Thanks for testing that.

    When I click options/backup from the BI tools interface you get two options. Backupup BI tools settings or BI server/camera settings. When I do the tools backup a file called settings.ini gets updated/created in the folder specified. However if I choose BI Server/Cameras nothing ever happens...

    As far as I know it does that on it's own...if not maybe (hopefully) I'll be corrected. I think it bases zoom off of object size. Glad you got it going!

    There is no "need" I have different presets for different things I do with the camera. One example is at certain times of the day I have it zoomed into an area of my field that gets a lot of critter action. I can have a different IVS tripwire setup for that particular XYZ and ZOOM level and...

    I say start small and work into what you want by testing...we all learned that way. Start with as above a single trip wire across the driveway and then play with it. I personally ended up using mostly all trip wires as you can have more than 1.
