    I forgot to mention, the web interface doesn't fit my laptop screen unless I view it at 75%. It worked fine before but now I can't get to the menus on the right side of the page.

    can this splitter be used?

    I had one similar to the first post but from ebay. It might have killed my camera, can't say for sure. It might have been coincidence that the camera started acting up after installing it. The camera wouldn't work after that with a good power supply connected directly to it.

    My flood lights worked like that, but the hikvision was to slow adjusting to the light change, so I set them for dusk to dawn. I'll be looking forward to seeing new pictures or video.

    Bob, I saw those, I don't believe they have IR LED's. With out the built in IR, I would rather use the small box camera. My concern with the ones I was looking at is there is no way to tell how good the image would be with moving objects. I searched youtube but couldn't find any examples that...
