    Better is the enemy of good enough. Besides... I'm pretty sure I can buy the right size screw when I take the housing with me to the store and verify that it works. It's not the EXACT OEM screw - Home Depot didn't carry the "cone point" - but it'll do the job!

    Really pulling my hair out here. I have the camera up and running in Blue Iris. I changed the ports, and admin passwords. I now can't for the life of me get the device to come up for configuration in either Device Config or CMS. Always get "Logon timeout". Advice, or a way to factory reset?

    Cannot get camera to work, do not know user name or password

    Reset the camera by holding down the reset button while applying power. Release the button 10 seconds after applying power. Reset button is on circuit board, inside the security dome.

    Why not use scheduled switch on the HikVision, but set the times to later than sunrise and later than sunset. Set the day and night params on the camera. Then ALSO have BI change day / night modes at actual sunrise and sunset? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Daytime, I think is really good. These are already on 1/12 exposure. There is very little "real" light in these areas. As best I know, these are "main streams" - but if love to find out otherwise.
