LastPass says hackers stole customers’ password vaults

Hahaha, Talk about in your face, Hacking a password company, Things like have a big red bullseye on them anyway. Good luck on the brute force encryption, in some cases depending on the encryption, it might take years to do that. I think we all know Cloud is not safe by now anyway. I have dental...

Any way to Add USB Ethernet NIC to Dahua NVR??

I think this has been talked about before, I tried to add a usb to rj45 nic to a few dahua NVR's with no luck, The NVR must house the driver in the firmware to do that and as far as I know, Dahua has no accommodation for that as far as I know,

    CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency)

Its already bad now, lets find a way to spy on you, know your location at all times, take your picture and listen to your conversations without you knowing it, and YOU will love it, and you will pay for it every month. The digital wallet is already here, we have been lulled into this like a...

    Ethernet Cable Problem

I have been in this kind of situation before, Sounds like the OP is running out of options, I have used your Idea of using a power injector or 12v power at the camera itself at the end of the run, that should tell it all.

This Monster showed up at my door.

I had to throw it on my bench with a second NIC on the pc set to the Ip Pool of the machine, they gave me the IP of the machine and it brought up the management interface, From there If I had a password I could have gotten at the data, Seems who ever ordered the box has the password in there...

Doing a simple data transfer for a medical client, I worked with their data conversion team for x-ray images. I was told to install a 1TB hard drive for the data conversion in the server, did that about 2 weeks ago, they were going to ship me a external hard drive so i could copy the data they...

Police take down one of their own

More has come out on this, I guess the Sheriff's Deputy already had been shot a few times prior to the SSPD getting at the location, he might have been in shock, who knows, either way he did eventually drop the gun the hard way. The SSPD did it by the book. Saratoga Springs was one of the best...

Like I have said before, this crime thing is creeping its way up to my neck of the woods, They are giving concealed carry permits away like candy in my County, Starting to remind me of Dodge City in Gunsmoke. Things are REALLY getting nuts up here. Saratoga Springs PD

Thats my game plan right now, Hopefully when I cut it, I can get enough movement on the front side (By the 90 degree elbow) to be able to do that, the side going into the wall is glued in place with a insulator through the floor joists and that ain't giving nothing up.

Lots of people really like these and for sure its not out of the question, I like the brass compression fittings with brass ferrules in this area because its the top floor, The sharkbites and push on fittings have a rubber o-ring and it kind of bothers me the minerals and chorline in the water...

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

I had to find the control to adjust the aspect ratio on the Hikvision to get it to look decent, Not having the Dahua to test with I would bet it has the same control also so you can get the correct aspect for the image size, Kind of had to hunt for it If I remember correct.

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

You are correct Andy, These wide angle cameras are best for supplement, They do cover a big area and have their place. I could never see that far out in my back yard that clear even with a full moon. I find I have to screw around with it quite a bit before I can get it dialed in at a happy...
