I currently have 34 with a mix Dahua 4K and Hikavision 4K cameras, all running 15 FPS. Right this moment I am running 9% CPU on an I7-8700 running at 3.20GHz. I use a couple of WDC WD101PURZ-85C62Y0 drives in a RAID configuration. Love substream, make so much of a difference.
This is weird. I have a Dahua (IPC-HDW5231R-Z possibly) that I can not get the web interface open with my standard user_name and password. But I look in BI and it is using the exact same credentials and it works fine. Anyone encoutered this before?
I really don't want to purchase an NVR, right now I have 32 cameras on BI. Last time I looked at NVR's they got real expensive when you started seeing that many cameras. Thank you though!
So I bought a IPC-EW5541-AS from Andy on Amazon a month or so ago. I knew that Blue Iris couldn't de-warp the views but it is a neat camera to play with. So now I really would like to get a camera that Blue Iris can work with that de-warps on it own. Does anyone have any recomendations on a 180...
You need to down grade the firmware on the camera and then you can switch it to Dahua firmware. Use this firmware to downgrade the stock Amcrest and then upgrade it to the Dahua firmware, all through the camera UI. No need to get messy. I did 4 of them this morning.
Did you see my post from 8:50 am today? I didn't even remember setting some of the cameras for H264+ or H265 but when I set them all for H264 it was the end of the problems.
