Just got burgled . . .
Sorry to hear what happened.. I just wanted to add, that using PIR floodlights with cameras isn't always the best thing. At the point the lights get tripped, the cameras get overwhelmed, and often switch from night to day mode. which often takes a good few seconds. You are far better off...- T1NYW

I'm having the same lag problem, I've tried to change lots of the settings, and nothing seems to improve the lag. I seem to have managed to get the PTZ working using the Hikvision NVR and app. But out with the severe lag, it's pretty much un-usable, because you can't tell where the camera has... -

Which protocol are you using ? I've got it powered using a 20amp psu, and it's connected for testing directly to the Hikvision NVR using a a 2mtr network cable. All the other cameras connected to the same NVR work correctly. It's only the Huisun that has problems. -

The Huisun v2 (Imporx) Seems to have limited use when connected to a hikvision nvr. You can view it. ( but seems a few seconds delayed compared to my hikvision cams) But using virtual host, the menus don't work. The pan and tilt works, but I can't get the zoom or focus etc to work. I'm... -

Raspberry as storage for my videos
Would you mind sharing your setup / scripts ? is this a dedicated Pi just for this use ? im thinking of using one, to capture motion captures and photos, then using Google photos, to back these up off site for free.- T1NYW
