    @looney2ns, will you please elaborate on why the micro/mini's aren't suitable for running Blue Iris? If I need to dedicate a machine solely to Blue Iris, I'd prefer to tuck it away where it won't be seen and the 1L form factor seems perfect for that.

    Did you get the settings from the Blue Iris server, or put them in manually? I got my from the server, which did automagically pick up the WAN address.

    I think it's just not checking. It should probably try the WAN interface of the VPN server first, and if that does not work try the internal address. Likely that's what the Android app does.

    I can confirm this. I just went through the same issue, and the iOS app seems to have a bug in the WAN setting where it must be local in order to access the server on the VPN.

    Not exactly true. A few apps, Omnifocus being one of them, require you to pay for upgrades... But, point taken on the overthinking bit.

    I've got the VPN working fine now. It is just that for other less IT savvy folks, like wife and in-laws, starting up a VPN connection and then checking the cameras is almost certainly going to increase the number of 'support calls' I get, if not deter them altogether.

    Anyone know what the update policy is for the app? I'm considering buying, but not sure how much value it adds over UI3 in the browser. It looks like it hasn't been updated in a while either. Can anyone with both apps comment on the functionality of one over the other?

    Does BI support Pushover notification?

    Just resurrecting this thread with another vote for a pushover direct from Blue Iris. I got here probably the same way many have; living in a location where there are no free SMS gateways offered by the local telcos. A direct pushover notification would be ideal.

    I have that option ticked, and the cameras can sync with NetTime ... when the firewall is turned off. When it is turned back on again, the clocks start drifting. This happens despite me adding the NetTime executable to the allowed list of the Windows firewall. So it seems like the Windows 10...
