Hi, Hikvision support told be I had to change the DNS settings from automatic, to 8.8.8.8 on the network adapter in order for this to work in this release... Fixed the problem at least.

Hi, just seen this was released today Installed on my Hikvision NVR 7700, and had a few issues.... I lost 1 HDDs of recordings as the drive status changed to repairing. Also It does not connect to Hik-Connect anymore, its just showing as offline. Has anyone else tried it / have any issues...

Im surprised more people aren't experiencing the same issues. I have logged a call with Hikvision Support, but they are saying there are no other reported cases.

I updated on the day of release. It has messed up my system at present, as they have changed the way IR is handled from a physical sensor, to software decision, hik support have told me. Where as my cameras used to change automatically when it was low light conditions, to IR seamlessly...

Hi the version I was sent for testing from Hikvision was NVR_K51_BL_ML_STD_V3.4.90_161124 The download link they sent me has expired now, but it might be worth emailing support asking them if they could share this build with you, or newer if they have one.

Both the NVR, and the web based browser playback show the issues at the same point. I agree those were my first thoughts, just strange how its only happened since updating the firmware. I might try reducing the bitrate for recordings (16384) back down to 8192, see if that helps anything at...

yes, firmware bug, if you update you can get up to a week before it happens. theres no known fix as of yet. I returned mine for a 7716

Is anyone else having the issue where the camera image will freeze for 1 second during a period of motion, then skip the second, causing the image to jump on playback? Ive only experienced this since upgrading the firmware, so was thinking it could be related.

The issue is still present on the latest firmware release on the website, though it improves the situation in regards to frequency. ML uses more memory than English only. There is currently no definitive fix from Hikvision to resolve this, they still have some unreleased variants floating about...

From the logs are you seeing Abnormal Shutdown? I had the same issues, but if you use the latest firmware, it "only" reboots itself once a week... I returned mine in the end, as it was a pain in the backside, and went for a 7716 instead.

Yep successfully updated, not noticed any difference though
