Is there a way to completely reset?

Thanks I will give that a go when I’m at work on Monday. I’ve had to set something else to record until I get this resolved. Do you know if there is a way to remove a couple cameras as well? During this process I may have gone a camera or so too far for the hardware which may be contributing to...

Is there a way to completely reset?

Hi all, is there a way to completely reset the db/start over outside of BI? In the process of dealing with storage issues (upgrading single 4tb drive to 2x 10 tb drives) and swapping out some cameras I’ve managed to get BI to become unresponsive so, as I have a backup of the old video (ie the...

    Recording Audio with Direct2Disk?

It is D2D, I found the problem, the new cameras frame rates are obviously too high. They were set at 20fps, dropping them down to 15fps has reduced/removed the issue (I think the old 720p ones were set for 15, and we had just configured wrong initially before we installed them).

    Recording Audio with Direct2Disk?

Ok, I must be running into some other issue. I know that the replacement cameras are higher resolution than the existing, but my CPU usage shot up WAY high (ie: I remove 9 720p cameras and added 2 2K cameras and my CPU usage is at like 70% no motion detection, direct to disk where it was at...

    Recording Audio with Direct2Disk?

Is it possible to record audio while using Direct2Disk or will it cause a spike in CPU usage?

    Camera live view lag

No, because it’s more than just local clock offness. For one thing the bi server is the ntp server for the cameras, so drift is fairly minimal. The delay is most noticeable like when watching the camera feed and watching someone move - there is a delay, it’s not a time offset where the...

Local UI3 (well, local on same premises, but a different VLAN since it is punched through to the internet for remote access). The machine is in a rack in our server closet so we never look at the actual console unless using RDP to reconfigure something. We currently have 21 cameras split...

    Camera live view lag

Hi all, I brought a thread about this a while back that while viewing the web interface, it was a few seconds behind real time. Right now, it's almost 5 seconds behind real time. CPU usage is total system ~32%, BI CPU ~29% Memory: total usage 72%, BI using 3.3 GB out of 8 total currently the...
