[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

Actually, I think I figured it out. I can create a hidden camera that is creating the jpegs.

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

I want to only use the AI when there is motion. Seems simple enough - trigger on motion. The problem is, that creates an alert list image even if AI Tool hasn't done the confirmation. Is there a way to only save images when there is motion, and then use the trigger URL to create an alert list...

Bad Scaling on "All Camera" View

There have been threads on this previously, but I haven't been able to correct the issue. From the *mobile app on iOS* and the *Web view* (both old and new), the individual camera feeds are super clear and detailed. However, when I use the "All Cameras" view, it looks like it's downscaling...

Constant Crashing - R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call

Of course, but to be fair, I didn't really want support. I was happy with the workaround and you encouraged me to reach out to support. :-)

Constant Crashing - R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call

So far I got an email back saying my support expired. He did follow up with some questions, so I'll answer those. Other than that, the workaround seems to be working great so unless he wants to pursue a fix I'm going to consider it resolved.

Constant Crashing - R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call

Took me 60 seconds to switch to running it as a service. This post actually came up in the top of my search results for "R6035 Pure Function Call Blue Iris". Yes, I do have a bit of an attitude toward support. As you mentioned, Dell India support is not a fun activity, so I generally try to...

Constant Crashing - R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call

I have not. Is the support decent? I don't have time for the "have you restarted your computer?" class of responses. The data Kalibr provided is immensely more valuable since he figured out it is graphics driver related and has tested a workaround. At this point, if I do email support, I'll...

Constant Crashing - R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call

I have been having the exact same problem. Very annoying. I changed it to run as a service as well. Fingers crossed.

    Utilize USB Cameras

@GuiBou, in this case I still have one eye open, and I want to open the other one only in certain cases. I'd rather not glue my eyes open. :-) @bp2008, I'll take a look at that. Thank you. With so many cameras already scattered throughout my house, I'd love to use them in "Away" and...

    Utilize USB Cameras

I know that I can add a USB camera to blue iris, but unfortunately Blue Iris ends up monopolizing the whole thing. In other words, you can't continue to normally use the camera. I actually have to "disable" the camera in blue iris to use it again. Is there a way to only enable the camera when...

    Hikvision Deactivating on Reboot

O...M...G.... I laughed a bit when I saw your response, but sure enough, he reset button was stuck under the housing. I used a tiny screwdriver to fish it out. Works perfectly now. Spent an hour trying everything else, never thought that it might be a hardware problem. Thank you so much!

    Hikvision Deactivating on Reboot

I have 5 hikvision cameras, and the most recent one I purchased deactivates every time I reboot. It doesn't retain any settings. I assume it's hardware, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue. After the reboot, I have to go through the activation process again. I've tried...
