    oh yea, I can get into the router....have no problem changing ip's on the cameras....just lost you at DHCP pool. I don't have a NVR yet, trying to figure out which route I want to go....May just order the package with more cameras since I need them anyway.

    If I but this EmpireTech Refurbished NVR8CH-AI 8 Channels 1U 2HDD Network Video Reco from Andy....I assume I just plug it into my Poe switch? My only experience with NVR's is an old Hikvision where you plugged the cameras directly into the NVR.

    cant add cam to DMSS

    I have already installed the cam, and tried scanning the QR code on the box then entering the serial number from the box....the app tells me the s/n does not exist....any ideas? Never mind...I got it figured out

    yea, was just looking at specs on the cameras....I'm leaning towards just grabbing this EmpireTech Kit3 8/16-Camera Capable NVR System with IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 1/ and going from there.
