Can you brick a camera just by connecting to nvr?

I unplugged it, because it felt warm to me. Not really sure if it was warmer than usual, as I don't go around feeling them when they work. Planned to try connecting with poe router and laptop. Plugged it in, just for the hell of it suddenly it works. Still doesn't work with new NVR. Bur at...

Can you brick a camera just by connecting to nvr?

No problem I tend to write run on sentences. Connected cameras show up on screen with a little picture of an ethernet port in the top left corner of screen. Also cameras show up in settings screen. This shows no sign of being plugged in.

Can you brick a camera just by connecting to nvr?

I bought a new nvr from Andy, nvr5232-16p-4ks2e. To replace my qsee system. I know I have two Chinese to English hacked cameras that won't work with new nvrs. When I bought them the seller said can't be upgraded, won't work with 4k nvrs. So my plan was leave them attached to qsee, till I can...

    Navigating Dahua NVR. Without remote.

Me qsee nvr died last month, I finally broke down and bought a new, NVR5232-16P-4KS2E. From Andy on prime day. My old nvr. Had a remote which made it very convenient to scroll through cameras. The nvr is hooked to TV in bedroom, so I could easily check cameras from bed. My question is...

Just once I'd like to need a cheap, easy to find part break.

    Nvr, internal p/s 53volts?

    Maybe it's a typo 12, 5, 3 written as 12, 53.

    Nvr, internal p/s 53volts?

Can't even find a atx power supply with a 53v output. The ones I found under original part number don't show specs. Since power supply is dead, I can't meter it and have no prints to confirm 53v.

    Nvr, internal p/s 53volts?

Thank you 53v power supply seems to be hard to come by. The nvr is a qc8116.

    Nvr, internal p/s 53volts?

The power supply in my qsee nvr died. as I explore upgrade/replacement options, I'm hoping to get it working again. The power supply is a atx. Should be 12v 5v 3v . Label says 12v 53v. I suspect a typo/ poor translation. Can anyone shed light on this thanks.
