Ptz going to preset but not being called by spotter.

I’ll definitely check. This one has the new Dahua gui. Here is a pic from BI. Cam 1 is my ptz and cam 2 is a spotter.

Ptz going to preset but not being called by spotter.

I sure will. It’ll be a bit as I’m at work. But the “turn ptz” to whatever is off so it can be controlled by the spotters.

Ptz going to preset but not being called by spotter.

I have a ptz being called to a preset. HOWEVER, I’m not sure why. When the ptz senses motion, it triggers a group (only the ptz and one spotter are in the group) and goes to the preset for that spotter/group. I have no alerts setup in BI on that ptz. The ptz is the one triggering and going to...

Making PTZ go to newest trigger from spotter

You got it. I thought my ptz was staying stationary while other spotters triggered it. It works as you described.

Making PTZ go to newest trigger from spotter

Okay, by default the “cancel alerts” is unchecked for each preset. If I want the ptz to go from preset to preset, I’d need to have the cancel alerts checked no? Each preset is controlled by a separate spotter so I’d need one to override the other? Thanks Witt!

Making PTZ go to newest trigger from spotter

Is there a way to make a ptz go to the newest alert from a given spotter cam? I don’t have one spotter camera that really takes priority over the other. Should I just got to the PTZ tab and select the “cancel alerts when this preset is active” for each preset?

    SD49425 SD card recording

Good evening everyone! My Sd49425 won’t stop recording to it’s sd card. All my other cameras record events only to their sd(s). This little guy won’t stop recording because the unticked “general box” won’t stay unticked under storage-schedule-record. I’m using IE and I’ve tried to change the...

No IVS or tracking using PTZ5A4M-25

Update: I couldn’t get the upgraded firmware to go through using the camera gui. I did however find a nifty Dahua IP config tool and that pushed Andy’s firmware through and I have IVS again as well as tracking. It seems to be working again.

No IVS or tracking using PTZ5A4M-25

I clicked this and rule config same as I did when I initially set it up. I added rules and IVS lines are showing but I can’t get them to activate. Thank you for responding Looney.

No IVS or tracking using PTZ5A4M-25

I have a PTZ5A4M-25 that I cannot get to trigger the IVS rules I have set. Using the new gui I have only IVS enabled. I see the IVS lines and I have smd/md disabled. I don't see and IVS alerts on the SD card but motion does register. I tried to update to Andy's current firmware for this camera...

    PTZ preset shifting

I will add that the shift when zoomed out looks like 1/8 of an inch and when zoomed in the preset changes 1/4-5/16 and gradually gets worse. With the coordinates turned on, I can see a change in coordinates sometimes and sometimes not. Even if the coordinates aren’t changed, you can see the...

    PTZ preset shifting

He’s put me in touch with a guy here in the states. Since yesterday morning I’ve been using IE actual. I’ve stopped using preset names and left them as preset 1-6 or whatever. I’ve deleted the camera from BI. I’ve reset to factory defaults twice. I’ve tightened all the clamps. I’ve tightened the...

    PTZ preset shifting

I’ve been messaging Andy. I think he’s more interested in selling than actually supporting the product. I’ve done everything he’s asked and tried all ideas offered. Another member named Hawkeye never got his issue resolved either. Maybe I am asking too much of a $450 camera. I would like it to...

    PTZ preset shifting

I’ll definitely try it. I have idle motion set to 2 minutes. I’ll change it to one. Thank you for the suggestion.

    PTZ preset shifting

Awesome and thank you as always. I’ll get it down tomorrow and I’ll mount it to the side of a wall and test it. If it’s good, I’ll turn the speed down as low as possible. I’ll take the three hose clamps one at a time and put rubber in between them and the pole. I really want a camera on the pole...
