Okay, by default the “cancel alerts” is unchecked for each preset. If I want the ptz to go from preset to preset, I’d need to have the cancel alerts checked no? Each preset is controlled by a separate spotter so I’d need one to override the other? Thanks Witt!

Is there a way to make a ptz go to the newest alert from a given spotter cam? I don’t have one spotter camera that really takes priority over the other. Should I just got to the PTZ tab and select the “cancel alerts when this preset is active” for each preset?

Update: I couldn’t get the upgraded firmware to go through using the camera gui. I did however find a nifty Dahua IP config tool and that pushed Andy’s firmware through and I have IVS again as well as tracking. It seems to be working again.

I clicked this and rule config same as I did when I initially set it up. I added rules and IVS lines are showing but I can’t get them to activate. Thank you for responding Looney.

The pipe definitely sways in the wind. I don’t understand why it’s off in the same direction each time with no wind? A lot of aluminum camera poles aren’t as thick and I’d think would have more sway. Is this a common issue?

Negative. Schedule 40 steel pipe and every preset is shifted and gets worse with time. It’s got to come down anyway. But you can see in the images they’ve moved but the mount hasn’t. The presets move in the same direction after each reset.

I reset the camera to factory default and removed then reinstalled in BI. I can set a preset and not an hour later it has slipped and gradually gets worse. The camera mount doesn’t move as I still have the same objects in view on either side of the pole.

I’ll post over there as well. I only did a google search and couldn’t find anything related. It does suck because the line is buried and now I’ve got to fish the line back through the pole, weatherproof it and set it up again. As well as removing and reinstalling the sd card.
