Guys a simple metal screw will work with the donkey balls mount they provide. Well if you have a lip like i do on the cutter. A 2 pack of 1/2 metal screws at lowes is less then a dollar. 1 screw will hold but you can line up 2 if you try. Doesnt take much to hold this stuff the chinese way...
I went ahead and ordered a 120 for shits and giggles. It puts out a 100% more coverage then the older IR 18W tendelux I had. I am impressed and mine doesnt seem to be getting hot at all, Ill check again before morning. I do have it mounted at the edge of the underhang of the house. I have it...
Yeap, I bought one yesterday just to see what the difference would be . Boy did it make a hugh difference. I will do this to all mine that are mounted under the eve. Amazing how a 3 in drop makes adjustment wise and for lens flare. I used the solid boxes and drilled my holes where I needed them...
What I did today was I moved the camera forward almost to the edge of the eve and lowered the range just a little. My wire hole is showing out the back some but a little silcone will fix that. Seems to have fixed my problem. I lost some of my range but it was a easy cheap compromise.
I have the old style and they work great after 2.5 yrs. From what I can see not much difference here with the 20watt maybe even not as good as the old one. I need max range and max width so which should I order new or old style?
I am hoping a few inches will work the electrical box is maybe 2 to 3 inches deep I hope it works it will be a cheap work around. the wall is brick so that is a no go mounting there. To much trouble drilling into that.
Spray paint ummm maybe a little to redneck for me. I did come across black...
Ok, I am getting IR reflection on a couple cameras I mounted under the eve of the house. How much drop would I need to fix that. I was thinking of using a outdoor weather proof electrical outlet box. I used this method to mount a camera on top my metal awning camera fit perfect on the box. I...

Its the same tonight and during the day I had a haze high up in the camera view all day. Pllaying with the settings did not change a thing. It wasnt sun glare either we had very little sun today. I also cleaned it. I looked at the lens and there is something wrong it is not like the others...
I have a new camera mounted on my barn and a security light about 100ft away in front of the camera view. The camera worked great until about 3am now all I see is a bright glare at the white light washes out the rest of the screen. It did have a small faint halo all night but wasnt a issue...
