    The fence block the IR, no matter what IR you set up, it just start the smart IR, like a human being always stand there and camera can watch clear on the faces... If there is no smart IR, the fence will be very bright. Like a mirror.

    This blocked the IR, and the IR adjust itself to make the pic not over exposure, so the other place looks very dark, i think to adjust the installing position will improve the pic.

    Looney's place have very poor light in the night, so it's a nice place to test the low light capacity, this camera has very powerful IR light, so make it's the most powerful IR bullet.     Yes focus distance is key to select fixed lens camera, we got a bad review on amazon said 4K-x 6MM Not focus(Thought was bad lens), as we have some further with him, that is the user error, normally there is no blocking on nearby(within the focus distance) will make the pic great. I think...

    You bought a Chinese fw NVR from China? I don't think you can update with english fw, normally the FW is locked if they are a Chinese NVR.
