Power flickered once, my IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS not working anymore.

I had a surge protector on the supply for the camera. It is still indicating it is fine. Yeah, ups on remote points is going on my list. This is a set up at home. I got five years out of the camera. The replacement camera from Amazon came in today. What a pain setting it up. I picked the...

Thanks for the link, I have one on order. I gave it 60 seconds the first time but I'll try your suggestion.

Power flickered once, my IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS not working anymore.

I've been using the above camera for a few years, worked just fine. Today the power flickered off for a second. One wifi light bulb died and this camera won't connect. I can ping it but it often drops packets, I've seen close to 5000 msec at times. Thought it might be the wifi router I'm...

Blue Iris said it expired on 2/4/2024

I looked up the email from when I renewed and plugged the code in. Now it expires in April. Do you have to plug a new key in every renewal? I don't remember.

Mine didn't complain until I rebooted it today. I've rebooted it a few times since 2/4.

Blue Iris said it expired on 2/4/2024

I rebooted my machine today and when I launched the UI it said my key was expired as of 2/4/2024, I've been paying for support every April. I checked Paypal and I can see that I paid 4/2023. Anyone else having a problem?

I run my microwave oven, the camera ip switches to the ap address

Looney2ns suggestion solved my problem but you are correct about leaking. My 2015 Panasonic microwave died this morning and the Toshiba unit I purchased doesn't seem to affect my wifi.

I run my microwave oven, the camera ip switches to the ap address

Well that is interesting. I read about recording mac addresses to deal with DHCP changing a camera's IP in the whats new, is that what you wanted me to read? AngryIP finds the AP at 192.168.1.20 with the exact same mac as the camera at 192.168.1.106 . I guess this can happen as I've bound...

I run my microwave oven, the camera ip switches to the ap address

This is weird. I'm running 5.6.5.0 x64. I'm used to running my microwave and having two cameras on 2.4g wifi winking out until the microwave stops. I'll get them hardwired next year when I retire. One camera didn't come back. I could get to it from the pc running BI using firefox...

Wierd issue after a Windows feature update.

Just before the new years my W10 home box underwent a feature update. I let it happen on my laptop a couple months ago and it went okay so I didn't expect issues. Once the updating was done, Blue Iris wanted the registration code. I guess it thought it was on a different box. Took me a while...

Is usb3.0 fast enough for hard drive storage?

You might want to be sure you are plugged into an usb 3 port. My Dell XPS 8910 has a variety of ports. • Two USB 2.0 ports • Eight USB 3.0 ports • One USB 3.1 Type-A port • One USB 3.1 Type-C port Plugging your 3.0 device into a 2.0 port is going to be slow.
