    Some evaluation questions

also just read in the "choosing hardware section" of this website and noted area in bold might be applicable to your situation--- Server CPUs (Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, etc) and Multiple Sockets(top) Generally speaking, if you can appreciate (and afford) an enterprise-grade server platform, your...

    Some evaluation questions

Wow! Now I'm jealous---that is a beast of a system (wait, is this the NSA?). Wish I possessed the knowledge to help, but it's over my pay grade. I would however recommend that you contact blue iris help first. Takes a day to get reply (and not sure about trial copy response) but they are...

Dec 2020 - Comparison of RTSP Doorbells

Sorry, but one other comment just in case it may help someone researching. I did try the Yoosee DB with the wifi interface during my original setup test. This was with an excellent wifi signal in the same room as the router---I personally would not recommend wifi interface. It just was not...

Dec 2020 - Comparison of RTSP Doorbells

Please allow me to add a correction. The port on the Yoosee is poe and data---it works with a single cat 5/6 poe cable plugged into the back of the doorbell from your source. While there is a splitter included in the camera package (as well as a separate power cable that could alternately be...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

I just uploaded a new capture from the doorbell cam. Please note that it was down scaled to 720p due to upload limits. It is a composite of several different scenes showing morning with sun on camera, day/evening, and night. The only time it shifted to B&W was during a pretty significant...

Doesn't seem to matter. I tested it right next to POE switch first before installing. It is now in a junction box about 1/3 of the way in the run (maybe 30 ft out of 90 ft.

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Thanks, Found online--Amazon I think for about $17--I'll check when I get back. Not sure since I had my son order some things for me. Securityseeker, it does freeze where they live, but figured for that little $ I'd try it. (I actually had a couple buck stepdown transformers in the garage at...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Ok put pics of install in media area. Had not cleaned up the cabling and labels yet, but will finish up today. The doorbell cam hasn't been off since my posts a few weeks ago and has worked flawlessly. I will probably move the cam location and play around with it later today.

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Hello all. Finally traveled back to where the cam is and did a little more wiring. It has been up and running good for quite some time now. I now have it connected to a POE switch, although I did use an inline device from Ubiquity that steps voltage down from 48v to 24v just to be sure the smoke...
