Thanks...okay so just pulled down the cam and attached short premade cable.... and seems to be working properly...(!)

No other device is on 108...

So got cam working for a few days. Then the live stream dropped. but still records at times...shows error 8000274c log shows: Signal: network retry

Sooo finally getting back to this It will be difficult to test with short cable due to the way it is mounted... Just did hard reset and recrimped the end that is plugged into PoE switch it reset to http://192.168.1.108/ but says This site can’t be reached config tool finds the camera BTW...

used 568B, solid copper. Im def new to this, but used same wire for other devices without issue...

Thanks once in a while I could access in browser. But its super slow... then times out... I see the cam on the router and see the IR is on on the cam...

Router shows camera connected IP config tool finds camera but then timeout Web login also times out Tried to change IP but got the error triangle :(

what should the second routers IP address be assigned to avoid conflict with 192.168.1.x...?

sooo computer running with BI demo, think got VPN figured out... cannot figure out how to set up rules to block IP cam from connecting to internet etc... Asus 68u router. I understand the concept. Just never did this before and cannot figure out exactly where to I am doing this--...

Thanks! have old PoE switch Cisco from eBay: Cisco SF100D-08P 8-Port 10 100 PoE Desktop Switch do I need a new one? Also have people painted a wall mount and dome housing to better match doors windows? any issues with doing it?
