Hi Bob The DB1 can record to a Micro SD card inside the doorbell. It can take up to 128GB I believe. This card is necessary for the DB1 recordings to be displayed on the phone app. If you are happy with it just recording to an NVR then you don't need that. I have recently purchased an Ezviz...
