The Tablets that Home Assistant stream the cameras are all using sub-stream
The iVMS-4500 Lite app is using substream
But the 2 PCs which using the Internet Explorer to access the NVR, how much bandwithth you think it...

We have a Hikvision NVR, model DS-7616NI-Q2 / 16P connecting to 16 Hikvision cameras using the built-in PoE ports of the NVR. The NVR run in the latest firmware V4.30.085 build 210409.
So far, we have 2 PC that is connected to the web-interface of this NVR to get the live view...
Unfortunately not from HIKVISION natively. Their iVMS is a RAM-hunger and crashes 90% of time. The only thing is that I see the software gets updated quite often (and it actually gets better each upgrade)
Other "kind-of" work-around is to stream each camera using VLC player's rstp protocol
The cameras are HIKvision bullet, 4 Mpx, model DS-2CD20xxWD
The resolution has the following values options:
1280x720P
1920x1080P
2304x1296
2688x1520

You will need to have an "authentic" HIKVISION products that is verifiable (they use Serial number to check) in order to get support from HIKVISION USA (we are located in Canada). These products are typically distributed by a licensed security company but not via Amazon or some online vendors...
