I just bought a new Amcrest ASH47-W. I have many other Amcrest IP cameras, all running on wifi. This camera I was able to get it connected
to the SmartHome app fine. But there are lots of problems connecting this to Blue Iris. I was trying to use RTSP in VLC Media Player but I get a connection...
Hi, I have a camera configured for my driveway (it shows clips from this camera, I can see it in the mobile app). I look in the GUI interface on the server and I do not see this camera. I have "show
hidden camera's checked, don't know what I did to lose this camera in the UI.
help!
I am attempting to replace an Amcrest camera currently on my home network. I have tried looking back
at Amcrest but it seems most of their products are out of stock. I had purchased a Reolink dual band camera
and it seems to be saturating my wifi. When I added this camera I had other wifi...
I will consider it. BTW the camera I was trying was to replace an Amcrest that was in the same spot before. The Amcrest just seemed a little fuzzy so this is why I am going
through this with the cameras. I am not adding a camera I am replacing a camera. The Amcrest did just fine with a fuzzy...
Okay, thank you for the information, very informative. On mp's yes I understand, 3-4mp's would be nice. As far as wifi goes I am too heavily invested right now in wifi camera' s so I am trying
to stick to them although I know the inherent problems with wifi. I have a split level rather large...
Thank you. I was afraid of that. My requirements for a camera:
- must be wifi
5MP or better
-have 100’ ballpark night vision
be a bullet
nice to have zoom
-less than or ballpark of $200.
i looked at Dahua and Hikvision and I was hard pressed to find WiFi camera’s. Tried a dual band Reolink and...
Bought this camera hoping to use zoom in BI but this company is not listed in th PTZ tab. Is it at all possible
to get this working in Blue Iris? I’ve been going crazy trying to find decent WiFi cameras and this would
s__k.

This ia a week or so old problem but I am having trouble finding a decent wifi camera (not running cat5). I bought this camera and it came up in Blue Iris just fine. But
then some of my other Amcrest cameras started dropping out, losing signal. I thought the dual band might be advantageous but...
Okay, got it working by not requiring web authentication. But that is a concern. I have a FIOS router and behind that I have a Google Nest mesh wifi. Yes, I have double NAT. I am aware
of the issues. I have forwarded the proper port to each router. I am just concerned of the possibility of...
Hi all,
I had to rebuild Blue Iris on anther machine due to a crash , using same IP but a different port for BI. Blue Iris is working fine, all cameras come up okay. I reset the port in the Action Tiles URL but
the camera's do not come up. I even deleted one and added it again, still no go...
Fixed this issue by re-running the BI remote access wizard. Port 81 then showed up and ActionTiles worked!
Thank you all for the suggestions and help.

I understand about the non-routable IP space. Firewall is off. The BI machine is technically on a 1Gb switch wired to a laptop in my rec room. Are you saying take
the BI machine and place it on the local network, 192.168.1.x? If so that will not work, my camera's are on the 86.x subnet. I worked...
